Recently, the lithium-ion battery and system intelligent manufacturing project of Inner Mongolia Tianpu Technology Co., Ltd. is progressing in an orderly manner. At the construction site, large machines roar, workers fulfill their duties with great enthusiasm, presenting a busy scene.

The project started on January 21, 2026, and has now fully entered the foundation construction stage. The foundation excavation for the main plants, electrode plants 1# and 2#, has been completed, and cushion pouring has begun; the remaining plants are gradually carrying out pile foundation breaking and pile foundation testing. Steel structure installation is planned to start in early April, production equipment will enter the site for installation successively by the end of July, and full production will be achieved by the end of November.

The lithium-ion battery and system intelligent manufacturing project of Inner Mongolia Tianpu Technology Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 10.5 billion yuan, is located in the Mengsu Economic Development Zone in Ejin Horo Banner, covering a land area of 1,058.68 mu. It will build a production line with an annual output of 50GWh of lithium-ion batteries and a production line for energy storage container systems, along with supporting auxiliary facilities. The production process is divided into cell manufacturing, module production, PACK production, and system production. Cell manufacturing undergoes processes such as electrode processing, assembly, and formation before being warehoused; module production starts with cell testing, followed by welding and testing, and is warehoused after passing; PACK production first pre-processes components, then places modules into boxes, and is warehoused after meeting testing standards; system production undergoes incoming material inspection, component installation, and multiple tests, and finally the container rolls off the line.
