Recently, at the construction site of the Tairan E-commerce Industrial Park in Dongcheng District, Xuchang City, Henan Province, engineering vehicles shuttled back and forth while workers were orderly distributed across various construction posts, presenting a bustling scene.

It is understood that the Tairan E-commerce Industrial Park is a key project of Henan Province with a total investment of 1.8 billion yuan. Once completed, the park will promote the clustering effect of e-commerce, cross-border e-commerce, and logistics enterprises in Dongcheng District, and drive the rapid development of e-commerce technology projects in the district. During construction, the project adopted a "deficiency-tolerant processing" model, reviewing the construction engineering design plan first and completing the formalities afterward, which accelerated the project's entry and construction timeline.

In recent years, Dongcheng District has continuously deepened the "streamlining administration, delegating power, improving regulation, and upgrading services" reform, taking full-lifecycle and full-cycle service for enterprise development and project construction as the core task of optimizing the business environment. It has reduced pressure on enterprises with the simplest approvals, boosted their momentum with the most beneficial policies, and added vitality with the best services. One enterprise-benefiting measure after another has been introduced, attracting major projects to land one after another, forming a cluster effect of "attracting and nurturing one, following up with a batch, and driving a whole area," accelerating Dongcheng District's takeoff and transformation.

According to statistics, Dongcheng District currently has 22 key engineering construction projects with a total investment of 18.766 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 10.695 billion yuan. Investment of 5.45 billion yuan has been completed, accounting for 51% of the annual investment target.

Since the beginning of this year, Dongcheng District has continuously accelerated the cultivation and development of new quality productive forces, emphasizing "newness" and "quality," actively promoting the deep integration of next-generation information technology and manufacturing, and focusing on supplementing, expanding, extending, and broadening the application of industrial chains, resulting in a substantial leap in productivity. Among them, the Pangdonglai Comprehensive Production Base Park will conduct research and purchase equipment for industrial handling robotic arms and VGA handling and stacking robots, and is expected to achieve automated robotic material handling between warehouses and workshops by the end of this year; the industrial special fiber and intelligent production line construction project of Xuchang Xinhan New Material Technology Co., Ltd. has a total construction area of approximately 20,000 square meters and is expected to enter trial production in the third quarter of this year.

According to statistics, Dongcheng District's GDP in the ** quarter was 2.135 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.2%, ranking 4th in the city. From January to May, the district's value-added of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 62.4% year-on-year, ranking 1st in the city.

Next, Dongcheng District will continue to muster its energy and overcome difficulties, closely focusing on the key link of project landing and commencement, doing sufficient and solid preliminary work, accelerating the entire project workflow, and striving to promote early completion and production of projects so they can deliver benefits.
