Recently, the 2016—2017 National Quality Engineering Awards were announced, and 22 projects including the Shenzhen Urban Rail Transit Line 7 BT project undertaken by PowerChina won the Gold Award.

It is understood that Shenzhen Metro Line 7 has a total length of 30.2 kilometers and officially opened for trial operation on October 28, 2016, a full two months ahead of the original schedule. At present, the line carries an average daily passenger flow of 450,000 person-times and has transported more than 100 million passengers. The project applied a total of 31 new technologies and new processes, won 16 science and technology awards at provincial and ministerial level or above, and obtained 1 invention patent and 33 utility model patents.
