Increase Support to Boost the Summer Economy
Travel data since the start of the summer travel season is a direct reflection of consumption potential and vitality, and the best proof of the red-hot "summer economy." In civil aviation, daily passenger volume reached 2.286 million, passenger throughput at airports in regional tourist cities such as Altay grew by more than 80% year on year, and the number of international passenger flights exceeded 6,300 per week. In rail transport, from the launch of the summer travel season on July 1 through August 6, national railways carried a cumulative 513 million passengers, up 5.4% year on year, averaging 13.86 million passengers per day; on popular routes, capacity was expanded by adding temporary passenger trains, coupling multiple-unit trainsets, and attaching extra cars to conventional trains.
