Recently, the wave-attenuation facility project for the Zhejiang Huadian Wenling Shitang 200MW tidal-flat photovoltaic power generation project, undertaken by CCCC Road & Bridge Construction Co., Ltd., has been successfully completed. As an important supporting works of the power station, this L-shaped wave-attenuation facility, with a total length of 1,955 meters, adopts a high-pile beam-slab open vertical structure, which can effectively reduce the impact of main wave directions on the photovoltaic field area while ensuring the seawater circulation required for tidal-flat aquaculture, thus building a solid barrier for the safe operation of the photovoltaic power station.

The project is located in a shallow shoal area where large vessels and equipment cannot enter, and construction faces multiple difficulties such as extremely short tidal windows, part of the structure being submerged underwater at high tide, and the tidal flat being completely exposed at low tide. The project department made scientific and coordinated arrangements, selecting shallow-draft tidal-flat pile drivers for pile sinking operations, precisely utilizing every tidal window and seizing every opportunity to ensure efficient project progress. During construction, the project team adhered to both technological innovation and quality excellence, optimizing the pile sinking process and the superstructure construction plan. The pile foundations passed 100% low-strain testing, and the superstructure quality fully met national and industry standards.

It is reported that after the Wenling Shitang 200MW tidal-flat photovoltaic power station is fully put into operation, it is expected to provide approximately 300 million kWh of clean electricity annually, equivalent to saving 92,900 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 307,400 tons. The completion and operation of the wave-attenuation facility provides strong support for the long-term stable operation of the power station and also injects new momentum into the development of Taizhou's green energy industry.
