As a Zhejiang Province "Thousand Projects, Trillion Yuan" project and a key urban-district integration project, Jianyang Lake Song-style Water Street (Phase I) is the opening chapter in Jianyang Lake's development of the "one street, two wings, three rings" layout, and is being built by Taizhou Huangyan Jianyang Lake Tourism Development Co., Ltd. With a total investment of approximately 1.46 billion yuan, a total land area of about 147,000 square meters, and a total floor area of about 121,000 square meters, it is planned to include more than 30 hotel, commercial, and cultural service buildings and more than 800 parking spaces.

The project is being constructed simultaneously in five blocks. On site, the sounds of various types of construction machinery such as pile drivers, excavators, and grouting machines can be heard without end, and hundreds of workers are distributed across construction stages including pile foundation work, slope protection pouring, and building construction, carrying out operations in an orderly manner. Block D is the block with the most planned buildings, 17 in total, and several of them have already entered the topping-out construction stage, among which Building 15 is about to complete the installation of Chinese-style eaves.

"This month, Buildings 4, 9, 11, 12, and 16 will successively complete topping-out. After that, construction will begin on the landmark Building 2, which is the entrance section of the water street," said Han Jiangbo, deputy general manager of Taizhou Jianyang Lake Tourism Development Co., Ltd., pointing to the on-site rendering as he gave a detailed introduction to the construction progress of each block.

Because the project site is backed by mountains and faces water and has a narrow, elongated terrain, it has been divided into five functional blocks, A, B, C, D, and E. The participating units have adopted different construction methods suited to local conditions in each block to advance the project. At the same time, in response to the currently rising temperatures, the participating units have made advance preparations for heatstroke prevention and cooling to ensure the project progresses on schedule.
