In midsummer, construction machinery roars at the construction site of the Fu'an Wushan Grand Bridge on National Highway G228, where more than a hundred builders are seizing the window before the flood season to fully advance the waterborne steel sheet pile cofferdam operation. To date, the project has completed 80 pile foundations, reaching 25% of the total, and the focus of construction has officially shifted from underground work to the critical stage of above-water structures.

As a key project in Fujian Province, the bridge involves a total investment of 876 million yuan. It is a key node of the national highway's "Vertical Line One" and an important transportation support for the "one core, one corridor, five axes" development pattern of the around Sandu'ao Bay Area. Once completed, the project will fill the gap in the express corridor on the east bank of the Saijiang River, promote Fu'an's development from a river-oriented city toward the sea, and help upgrade port-related industries.
