Recently, with the precise placement of the final precast box girder, the G109 Line Shagou Bridge Dangerous and Old Bridge Reconstruction Project undertaken by Gansu Road & Bridge WuHuan Company successfully completed the box girder hoisting construction task. The project has now fully shifted to the bridge deck system and ancillary works construction stage, launching a final sprint toward the goal of completion and opening to traffic on June 30.

In order to further enhance the road traffic capacity and operational safety level of the G109 Line Shagou Bridge, this reconstruction project demolished the original damaged reinforced earth retaining wall and the lower masonry stone slab arch bridge, and built a new 4×30-meter prefabricated prestressed concrete continuous box girder bridge.

Since the start of construction, the project department has adhered to high-standard planning and high-quality advancement, working backward from milestone targets with schedules and wall-mounted charts, scientifically organizing construction production, strictly implementing quality and safety management responsibilities, and making every effort to promote quality and efficiency improvement in project construction. During the construction process, new technologies such as full-casing follow-up of rotary drilling rigs in collapsible geology and intelligent tensioning and grouting systems were actively promoted and applied, effectively solving construction difficulties and improving efficiency and quality.

At present, the construction of the G109 Line Shagou Bridge Dangerous and Old Bridge Reconstruction Project has entered the decisive stage. The project department will closely focus on the established traffic-opening target, further increase the input of personnel, machinery and equipment, and resources, scientifically organize various tasks such as bridge deck system construction, continuously strengthen dual control management of quality and safety, and go all out to promote quality and efficiency improvement in project construction, ensuring the project opens to traffic on schedule.
