It is understood that, as a key benchmark project in the carbon-based new materials sector of Wuhai City, the project is planned to cover 703 mu, with a large overall scale and a well-developed layout. The project focuses on building four core production units and supporting ancillary facilities, mainly including an annual production capacity of 280,000 tons of carbon black, 2.63 million tons of upgraded coal pyrolysis, 450,000 tons of coal tar processing, and 150,000 tons of LNG supporting production units, striving to build a large-scale, integrated modern carbon-based new materials industrial system and effectively filling gaps in the development of the regional industrial chain.

Since the start of construction, the project construction team has always strictly adhered to the bottom line of quality and safety, strictly implemented standardized construction specifications, refined construction plans, and consolidated job responsibilities, steadily advancing various construction tasks according to time nodes. It is reported that the project's land leveling, foundation pit excavation, and other foundation works have all been completed, and the foundation rebar tying process is being carried out in an orderly manner. More than 130 construction workers are staying on the front line, going all out to seize the construction schedule, and the overall construction progress is steadily accelerating. According to the construction plan, the project will complete the topping-out of the main structure by the end of September, enter the peak period of comprehensive construction in October, and make every effort to accelerate the construction pace, striving for early completion, early commissioning, and early results, with overall completion expected in March next year. After the project is completed and put into operation, the benefits will be significant. It is expected to achieve an annual output value of 6 billion yuan and annual profits and taxes of 300 million yuan, provide 500 stable jobs, and deliver considerable economic and social benefits.

Green closed-loop circular development is the most prominent core advantage of the project. Relying on the industrial agglomeration advantages of the industrial park, the project effectively breaks down industrial connection barriers and builds a green industrial ecosystem featuring upstream-downstream linkage and internal resource circulation. During production, the project uses pipelines to obtain coal tar from enterprises in the park nearby as production raw material, greatly saving transportation costs; relying on the advanced patented "Guofu Furnace" low-rank coal quality-based utilization technology, it achieves full consumption and resource utilization of carbon black production tail gas. At the same time, the pyrolysis gas generated during production can be processed into LNG liquefied natural gas, and the high-quality upgraded coal produced is directly supplied to surrounding enterprises, eliminating secondary processing links and reducing production energy consumption, truly turning waste into treasure and saving energy and reducing costs. By-products and finished products of enterprises in the park serve as production raw materials for each other, effectively improving resource utilization and product added value, and strongly promoting the green, high-end, and refined transformation and upgrading of the regional carbon-based industry.
