On July 9, 2026, the press conference for the 18th China (Beijing) International Construction Machinery, Building Material Machinery and Mining Machinery Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as BICES 2027) was held in Beijing. At the conference, Lü Ying, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Construction Machinery Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association) and General Manager of Beijing Tianshi Huagong International Exhibition Co., Ltd., delivered the "Introduction to the Preparatory Work of BICES 2027."

Good morning, everyone!

I am very pleased to introduce to you, at today's press conference on the launch of BICES 2027, the preparatory work for the 18th China (Beijing) International Construction Machinery, Building Material Machinery and Mining Machinery Exhibition. First of all, on behalf of the exhibition organizer Beijing Tianshi Huagong International Exhibition Co., Ltd., I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the representatives of user organizations, media friends, and colleagues from all sectors of the industry for your presence!

In the just-concluded "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the construction machinery industry focused on building a new development pattern, accelerated the formation of new quality productive forces, achieved an important transformation in its growth model, accelerated the optimization of its industrial structure, realized rapid growth in overseas business development and exports of construction machinery products, and made remarkable achievements in high-quality development. As can be seen from the industry operation trends presented by President Su Zimeng, the innovation capacity of the entire industry has continued to strengthen, new progress has been continuously made in rebuilding the industrial foundation, the modernization level of the industrial chain has been further improved, and the replacement of equipment in use by new intelligent and electrified equipment is accelerating.

At the same time, we are also clearly aware that the industry faces challenges such as slowing growth in demand from traditional markets and intensifying international competition, while the wave of new technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and new energy is profoundly changing the industrial landscape. The comprehensive upgrading of the industry toward intelligence, greening, and integration, along with the acceleration of global layout, has become an irreversible development trend. It is against this industry backdrop that BICES 2027 positions itself as "the centralized launch venue for the world's latest green and intelligent products"—enabling the latest achievements of the global construction machinery industry to make their world premiere, first exhibition, and first show here; making BICES a window for the world to observe the green and intelligent transformation of China's construction machinery industry, and also a bridge connecting China's construction machinery industry with the development of global green and intelligent technologies. In line with the characteristics of the rapid development of construction machinery toward "intelligence, greening, and integration," BICES 2027 will carefully organize the exhibition area layout and fully showcase the latest technology application achievements of the global construction machinery industry, especially China's construction machinery industry, over the past two years.

Below, as the representative of the organizer, I am authorized to provide a detailed introduction in five aspects: basic exhibition information, exhibition area setup, exhibitor recruitment policy, concurrent activities, and visitor organization.

　　I. Exhibition Entity and Basic Information

The exhibition is scheduled to be held from September 22 to 25, 2027, with September 22 to 24 as trade visitor days and September 25 as the public day.

The exhibition venue will continue to be at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall). The indoor exhibition halls are E1 to E4, plus one outdoor exhibition area.

The theme of this edition is: "Green Intelligence Leading the Way, Sharing Excellence." This theme is an iterative upgrade of the industry orientation of BICES 2025, "High-end Green, Intelligent Future." Based on the development direction of the "15th Five-Year Plan," the wave of global scientific and technological progress, the development of new quality productive forces, and the new pattern of construction machinery globalization, it is divided into two major sections: "Green Intelligence Leading the Way" (development path and core driving force) and "Sharing Excellence" (development pattern and value goals), combining policy height, industrial logic, global vision, and industry practice value.

"Green Intelligence Leading the Way, Sharing Excellence" closely follows the development direction of high-end, intelligent, and integrated manufacturing, as well as the requirements of the dual carbon strategy and the building of new quality productive forces. "Green Intelligence Leading the Way" highlights the driving role of core technologies such as new energy, unmanned operations, and digital twins, demonstrating the technological strength and industry responsibility of China's construction machinery in leading the global industrial transformation; "Sharing Excellence" is based on the integration of the entire industrial chain and two-way opening up at home and abroad, promoting the mutual exchange and symbiosis of technology, resources, and market value, and working hand in hand with upstream and downstream enterprises and global partners to build a low-carbon, efficient, innovative and win-win industrial ecosystem, jointly advancing to a new stage of high-quality and excellent development.

BICES 2027 positions itself as "the centralized launch venue for the world's latest green and intelligent products," and will build a platform for participants in the global industrial chain to share technological innovation achievements, share market development opportunities, and share an excellent future for the industry. From technology debuts to achievement transformation, from supply-demand matching to international cooperation—BICES enables every participant to gain something in this green and intelligent transformation.

　　II. Optimization of Exhibition Area Setup

In line with the trend of the construction machinery industry developing toward intelligence, greening, and integration, BICES 2027 has comprehensively optimized and upgraded the exhibition area layout. This edition will feature four indoor theme halls and one outdoor real-scenario application exhibition area:

　　Hall E1—Digital-Intelligent Green Drive · Low-Carbon Technology and Equipment Hall: Centrally showcasing high-end equipment integrating digital-intelligent technologies with green technologies, reflecting new achievements in green power and low-carbon equipment.

　　Hall E2—Smart High-end Equipment Hall: Focusing on low-carbon and intelligent application scenarios, showcasing scientific and technological achievements such as new energy equipment and smart construction.

　　Hall E3—High-Efficiency Energy-Saving · Green Intelligent Supply Chain Hall: Highlighting intelligent and efficient supply chain technologies and products, reflecting the development achievements of the high-end green supply chain of construction machinery.

　　Hall E4—Green Intelligent IoT · Logistics Robot Hall: Showcasing emerging technology and equipment such as intelligent connected supply chain solutions, intelligent industrial vehicles, and logistics robots, reflecting the intelligent development achievements of the industrial chain and supply chain.

　　Outdoor Exhibition Area—Comprehensive Exhibition Area for Intelligence, Greening, Integration, and Scenarios: Highlighting technologies and equipment such as unmanned, electrified, and smart construction, as well as simulated dynamic operation scenarios.

Within the above halls and theme exhibition areas, characteristic exhibition zones under various scenarios will be set up according to different professional fields and construction scenarios, and will be released in due course.

　　III. Exhibitor Recruitment Policy

Although the various costs involved in operating the exhibition have continued to rise, and the organizer faces considerable cost pressure, BICES has always put serving the industry and giving back to exhibitors first. After careful study and repeated weighing, we have decided that the overall price of this edition will remain unchanged, and the policy of enjoying a 5% discount for registering and paying a deposit before December 25, 2026 will continue to be implemented, in return for everyone's trust in and support for BICES.

In booth allocation, arrangements will be made in an overall manner based on exhibitors' participation history in previous editions, combined with registration time and deposit payment time.

We welcome enterprises and institutions at home and abroad in the fields of construction machinery, building material machinery, mining machinery, and related areas to actively register as exhibitors. BICES will comprehensively showcase new technologies, new products, new services, and comprehensive customer-oriented solutions in fields such as engineering and construction, building materials, mining, commercial vehicles, and emergency equipment, and make every effort to build a value exchange platform.

　　IV. Upgrade of Concurrent Activities

The concurrent activities of BICES 2027 will be comprehensively upgraded. On the basis of well-received brand activities from previous editions, such as the "User Festival," the "China-Africa Construction Machinery Cooperation and Development Forum," the "Excavating Machinery Industry Conference," the "Construction Machinery Green Industry Development Forum," and the "Construction Machinery Rental Industry Conference," we will also focus on organizing matchmaking meetings for direct communication between exhibitors and users, as well as forward-looking technology forums for industry development.

On the one hand, we will plan a number of rich, colorful, and effective exhibitor-user supply-demand matchmaking activities. We will plan and organize meetings jointly with user associations with exhibitors in advance, enabling both supply and demand sides to achieve precise matching and efficient cooperation on the exhibition platform.

On the other hand, we will actively organize a batch of high-quality, high-level forum activities. Focusing on industry hot topics such as the electrification path of construction machinery and the application of smart construction scenarios, we will invite industry experts for in-depth discussions.

At the same time, we will continue to strengthen the organization of international conferences, invite more representatives of international industry associations, enterprises, and media to participate, and enhance the international influence and industry discourse power of BICES.

The China International Exhibition Center has upgraded its venue facilities and conference facilities, among which the conditions of conference and activity facilities have been substantially upgraded and expanded. We hope that relevant units will make full use of the conference and activity space of the venue to carry out matchmaking and exchange activities.

　　V. Continued Efforts in Visitor Organization

Visitor organization is the key to the success of the exhibition. BICES 2027 will continue to make efforts on the basis of the previous edition and build a multi-level visitor organization system covering the entire industrial chain.

In terms of international visitor organization, the international visitors of BICES 2025 came from 85 countries and regions, an increase of 13 compared with BICES 2023.

BICES 2027 will further strengthen its international service functions on this basis and further upgrade publicity, invitation, and reception service measures for international visitors.

　　First,in key regional markets, we will establish cooperation mechanisms with more industry media or association organizations. Key publicity regions include Central Asia, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, South America, and Africa.

　　Second,we will strengthen publicity through overseas new media channels, enhance promotion efforts on new media and social platforms, increase the scope of global publicity and promotion through multiple channels and methods, and expand the global influence of BICES.

　　Third,after approval by the board of directors, we will increase the budget for international visitor organization to create conditions for more international trade visitors to attend for visits and exchanges.

We will make full use of China's visa-free policies for many countries and measures to facilitate travel and living payments for foreigners in China to attract more overseas visitors.

In terms of domestic visitor organization, we will continue to strengthen according to the original approach:

First, plan and organize meetings jointly with large user associations with major exhibitors in advance, giving play to the organizational advantages of industry associations.

Second, carry out visits and organization work for major user units in fields such as mining and energy, and go deep into key user groups.

Third, arrange the timing of user symposiums in various regions in advance to avoid affecting the work rhythm close to the exhibition, and add user symposiums in provinces such as Jiangsu and Shandong.

Fourth, make plans in advance, visit user units and user associations in Beijing, and organize visitors in advance.

Fifth, strengthen new media publicity channels and enrich publicity content. BICES 2025 attracted nearly 100 media outlets to report on site, with nearly 200 domestic and foreign media participating before and after the exhibition, and CCTV carried out a special report of more than 4 minutes. BICES 2027 will further expand publicity channels and enhance publicity effects.

Dear media friends, the preparatory work for BICES 2027 has officially started. In line with the characteristics of the rapid development of the construction machinery industry toward "intelligence, greening, and integration," we will carefully organize the exhibition area layout, actively organize high-level forum activities, strengthen invitations to domestic and foreign exhibitors and key customers, strengthen global publicity and promotion through multiple channels, and refine various preparatory work plans. Our goal is to present a high-quality, high-level professional international exhibition and exchange event for the global construction machinery industry.

BICES 2027 will be held from September 22 to 25, 2027 at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall) in Beijing.
