On July 4, with the completion of the final section of parapet wall concrete pouring,

the main structure construction of the Beihai Inner Harbor (Dijiao Fishing Port) Upgrade and Renovation Project in Beihai City (hereinafter referred to as the Beihai Dijiao Fishing Port Wharf Project), undertaken by Guangxi Road Construction Engineering Group, was successfully completed.

The Beihai Dijiao Fishing Port Wharf Project is located in Haicheng District, Beihai City. Its construction scope includes a 140-meter standardized wharf, water supply and drainage, power supply and lighting, and other supporting infrastructure. Once completed and put into operation, the project will add four fishing vessel berths, significantly enhance the cargo handling and vessel turnaround capacity of Dijiao Fishing Port, effectively optimize navigation and berthing conditions for fishing vessels, strengthen the port's comprehensive capabilities in wind and disaster prevention and emergency refuge, and inject strong momentum into the high-quality development of the local fishery economy.

The Beihai Dijiao Fishing Port Wharf adopts an L-shaped pile cap structure with a total length of 140 meters, divided into six construction segments. Because the pile cap base elevation is lower than the average tidal level of the sea area, the entire construction process is greatly affected by tides, resulting in short effective work windows and limited construction time each month. To fully ensure the milestone schedule, the project construction team drove steel sheet piles on the seaward side to form a retaining system, effectively extending the duration of continuous operations during slack tide periods. Construction efficiency was significantly improved, and the wharf pile cap construction task was completed on schedule.

Pile foundation work is the core critical process determining the overall project schedule, with a total of 154 rotary bored cast-in-place piles designed for the project. The sandy soil geology at the construction site is complex, resulting in poor hole-forming stability for pile foundations and high difficulty in underwater concrete pouring. The project construction team adapted measures to local conditions and implemented precise strategies. Based on on-site geological parameters and tidal variation patterns, they formulated a special construction plan, adopted a full casing follow-up wall protection technique, dynamically regulated the water pressure inside and outside the casing, and precisely selected low-tide periods for concrete pouring operations. At the same time, they strengthened real-time tracking and dynamic control throughout the construction site, resolving various construction bottlenecks and difficulties one by one, and completed all wharf cast-in-place pile construction operations efficiently and with high quality.

Next, the project construction team will continue to strictly control project quality, safety, and schedule, orderly advance subsequent construction tasks, and strive to build a high-quality, safe, and reliable exemplary livelihood project.
