As summer deepens and sunny and rainy days alternate, the construction frontline remains as energetic as ever. In recent days, the construction site of the new airport link road project from Zhihuo Street Community in Zhige Town to Lianfeng Village in Zhongbao Town, Hongya County, has been bustling with roaring machinery and busy operations. The Hongya County Transport Bureau, working in coordination with all participating units, has seized favorable weather windows to steadily advance construction. With pragmatic measures controlling construction details, a major transport artery connecting the airport and linking urban and rural areas is rapidly taking shape.

Focused Efforts to Accelerate Construction.The Hongya County Transport Bureau has scientifically allocated manpower and machinery resources to ensure efficient construction operations. On average, more than 50 workers are deployed at the site daily, along with over ten pieces of mechanical equipment operating simultaneously, including one paver and one grader, as well as three road rollers and three excavators and other core engineering equipment, forming an efficient and orderly construction system. All participating personnel have stayed at their posts, working overtime to make full use of the effective construction period. To date, the project's subgrade works have reached 99% completion, and the bridge and culvert works have been fully completed; pavement paving, slope protection, drainage pipelines and various ancillary works are proceeding in an orderly manner, with smooth construction coordination.

Safeguarding Bottom Lines, Building Green Roads.Adhering to the parallel advancement of safety production and ecological protection, all control requirements have been strictly implemented. Construction management personnel have carried out more than 10 routine safety hazard inspections and organized 4 safety training sessions for workers. Protective supplies such as safety helmets and safety nets have been fully provided on site, and more than 10 safety warning signs have been installed, fortifying the safety production defense line. At the same time, ecological and environmental protection requirements have been strictly implemented: construction teams sprinkle water to suppress dust four times a day at scheduled times, properly set up sewage sedimentation tanks and domestic waste collection points, properly disposed of more than 6 tons of construction waste, and carried out soil and water conservation and vegetation maintenance along the route, striving to build a safe, standardized, green and low-carbon quality project.

Flood Control and Worker Protection, Steady Progress.As the flood season is now underway, heavy rainfall and severe convective weather occur from time to time, putting considerable pressure on construction progress. The Hongya County Transport Bureau has assessed weather conditions in advance, formulated a special flood-season construction plan, tracked meteorological warning information in real time, and stockpiled more than 100 items of flood-control materials such as woven bags, water pumps and emergency lighting. Routine inspections of the construction site are carried out, with focus on foundation pit drainage and slope reinforcement, timely clearing of silt and gravel from the road surface, and inspection and handling of loose falling rocks, minimizing the impact of extreme weather on construction and ensuring that work does not stop and progress does not slow.

Fine Craftsmanship, Strict Quality Control.At present, the overall progress of the airport link road project has reached 92%, and the cement-stabilized base course paving will be completed in the near future, followed by asphalt concrete construction. The Hongya County Transport Bureau has assigned dedicated personnel to supervise on site, strictly controlling project quality, construction progress and safety production, verifying construction procedures item by item, and consolidating the construction responsibilities of all parties. All participating personnel, undaunted by high temperatures and rainfall, are making every effort to complete the final work, striving to meet traffic-opening conditions by the end of June this year and achieve high-quality opening to traffic in July, so as to activate the efficiency of the airport transport hub at an early date.
