Once completed, the Taizhou Bulk Commodity Spot Trading Center project will integrate upstream and downstream resources of the industrial chain and effectively fill the gap in the city's non-ferrous metals spot trading platform. In particular, as Taizhou accelerates its efforts to build itself into a smart manufacturing powerhouse open to both land and sea in the Yangtze River Delta, the project will also empower the city's development as a production-service-oriented national logistics hub, help build a modern logistics service system featuring "multi-dimensional land-sea-air connectivity, smart interconnection, safety and efficiency, and green environmental protection," and contribute to creating a logistics hub center in the southern wing of the Yangtze River Delta and a hub city at the land-sea intersection of the Belt and Road Initiative.

It is reported that the Taizhou Bulk Commodity Spot Trading Center project has a construction period of about 15 months and is planned to include supporting facilities for bulk commodity supply chain services: a "spot warehousing center + metal processing center + instant green distribution center + financial data center + futures delivery center," dedicated to building a regionally leading non-ferrous metals resource allocation hub.

Taizhou has a developed manufacturing industry, and enterprises have strong demand for raw materials such as copper and aluminum, creating an urgent need for specialized, large-scale trading venues. Taizhou Sanhe Urban Service Group has deeply integrated itself into the overall urban development strategy, building the Bulk Commodity Spot Trading Center to change the single trade model, actively laying out a track of integrated development of the real economy and modern service industry, and accelerating its transformation into a supply chain operator.

"Upgrading from a 'trader' to an 'operator,' we precisely match manufacturing demand with one-stop supply chain services, helping 'Taizhou Manufacturing' reduce costs and increase efficiency and enhancing the resilience of the industrial chain. This is a strategic practice in developing producer services and the modern circulation system," said Ma Li, Chairman and General Manager of Taizhou Sanhe Urban Service Group. "Next, we will anchor the goal of fully completing pile foundation work by the end of the year, adhere to high-standard planning and efficient construction, and strive to complete the project and achieve results as early as possible."

On April 23, the project held its first site meeting. Relevant heads of the construction unit, agent construction unit, supervision unit, and general contracting unit gathered at the project department to conduct the "first lesson at the start of construction" focusing on plan management, quality control, investment control, and work safety.
