The Zhengzhou New District Wastewater Treatment Plant "Reclaimed Water + Integrated Smart Energy Utilization Project" is a key livelihood and green low-carbon demonstration project in Zhengzhou.

The core pipeline of the project involves a single-section pipe jacking construction length of 480mXCMG XDN1800-S slurry balance pipe jacking machine efficiently completed the constructionlaying a solid foundation for the advancement of key project milestones.

The geology of this construction is dominated by high-moisture-content silty clay and flow-plastic silty sand, prone to water and sand inrush and collapse, placing extremely high demands on excavation face stability;

the 480m long-distance jacking requires millimeter-level precise guidance. Traditional equipment struggles to adapt to the complex strata and precision requirements, so the project team ultimately selected the XCMG XDN1800-S,

leveraging its specialized geological adaptability and intelligent control advantages to overcome construction challenges.

The XCMG XDN1800-S is specially designed for silt and running sand strata, highly matching the on-site geology. The equipment is equipped with a fully electronically controlled intelligent operation system and a visualized monitoring system,

enabling stepless parameter adjustment and automatic fault diagnosis, with millimeter-level precise guidance throughout to ensure stable attitude during long-distance jacking. During construction, the daily average excavation was 30-35m,

more than 20% higher efficiency than traditional solutions, safely and efficiently completing the precise breakthrough of the 480m pipeline.
