Currently in the golden period of spring water conservancy project construction, water-related projects in Zhuji City are being comprehensively accelerated. This year, the group focuses on three core sectors—water supply capacity enhancement, sewage treatment, and water conservancy for safety—and plans to complete a total investment of 1.639 billion yuan, with all projects advancing efficiently according to schedule.

In terms of water supply security, the DN800 water supply pipe relocation project on the Shidian Line (Yingdian Street Toll Station) has now completed installation of all main pipes, and water shutdown plans are being coordinated to connect the old and new pipes, with water supply expected to be restored this month; the Zhudong Line pipe network diameter expansion project and the Xindianwan pumping station construction project are being accelerated, striving for completion before the summer water use peak arrives. Also being advanced simultaneously are water supply pipe relocations on Erhuan Road, Baida Line, Jibei Road and other sections, as well as construction of pumping stations at Beisanhuan, Nanquanling and other locations, with a planned investment of 30 million yuan, to further optimize the urban water supply network layout and alleviate the tight balance of regional water supply.

Sewage treatment is also being improved in quality and efficiency simultaneously. Since the beginning of the year, major sewage projects have been advancing in parallel, including the expansion and efficiency improvement of urban domestic sewage treatment, the interception and pipeline collection of Shibi Reservoir, the upgrading and transformation of urban village sewage connections to treatment plants, the construction of the main sewage pipeline network in the Zhunan area, and the construction of the city's main reclaimed water pipeline network.

On April 7, on the Kaihua River, the steel trestle bridge for the connection project between Huangshan and Huandong sewage treatment plants has been completed and pipeline installation is about to begin. The project is planned to be completed ahead of schedule in June, effectively solving the saturation problem of the Huangshan sewage treatment plant. Meanwhile, at the site of the sewage main pipeline connection project between Ciwu sewage treatment plant and Diankou sewage treatment plant, a 700-meter mountain-crossing pipe jacking operation is proceeding intensively. This project will solve the overload operation problem of the Ciwu sewage treatment plant. "In addition, a batch of sewage pipeline constructions, including Wuxie to Datang, Datang pumping station to sewage treatment plant Section I, Paitou to Commercial City Section I, Zhumei Line, and Lingbei Town collection section, will also be concluded this year. The city's sewage infrastructure will be more complete and more resilient," introduced Shou Yongcheng, deputy manager of the Drainage Company of the Water Affairs Group.

Water conservancy safety projects are also advancing steadily. After the pre-discharge tunnel of the Anhua Reservoir Expansion and Upgrade Project (Zhuji section) was completed on March 24, construction has accelerated further: 10 sections of the outlet box culvert have been poured, construction of the inlet control gate has reached an elevation of 25.5 meters, and the overall project progress has reached 50%. Lin Jianbo, deputy manager of the Raw Water Company of the Water Affairs Group, introduced that gate installation is being stepped up to ensure that all preparations for gate closure and water storage are completed before April 15.

The third phase of the Puyang River governance project, as the key year-end completion project, has an annual planned investment of 253 million yuan. Pile foundation work for dike reinforcement in the Chantou Lake section is being carried out in an orderly manner. Through strengthened schedule reversal and safety inspections, full completion by the end of the year will be ensured, building a solid safety defense line for the people along the river.

From field pipe networks to riverside dikes, from pumping station construction to sewage connections, water-related projects are integrating "water security," "water ecology," and "water livelihood" into the urban fabric, laying a solid water security foundation for the city's high-quality development.
