At 11:18 on March 3, drilling of the pile foundation works for the Phase II expansion project of Yan'an Power Generation Company successfully commenced, marking the project's formal entry into the substantive construction stage and laying a solid foundation for the full-scale construction of the project.

The Phase II expansion project of Yan'an Power Generation Company involves the construction of two new 1,000 MW high-efficiency ultra-supercritical single reheat indirect air-cooled coal-fired units, together with supporting desulfurization and denitrification environmental protection facilities. The project will use 750 kV outgoing lines and connect to the Qindao 750 kV switching station, serving as an important supporting power source point for the Shaanxi-Anhui UHV transmission line. Once completed and put into operation, the project will effectively safeguard the safe and stable operation of the power system, enhance the capacity for absorbing new energy, and provide strong power supply support for Shaanxi's power transmission outward.

To ensure that the project starts construction to high standards and on schedule, the company planned ahead and made meticulous arrangements, strictly implemented all conditions for commencement, and adhered to daily scheduling, efficient overall coordination, and closed-loop problem-solving, completing all preliminary preparations ahead of time and creating favorable conditions for the smooth start of the project.
