On March 8, 10 SANY SY335C excavators successfully arrived at the site of the Bishoftu International Airport project in Ethiopia and were officially delivered to the Ethiopia New Airport project of CCCC First Highway Engineering Co., Ltd.

Bishoftu International Airport is located in Bishoftu, Oromia Region, Ethiopia, about 40 kilometers from the capital Addis Ababa. With a total investment of approximately US$12.5 billion, it will become Africa's largest aviation hub upon completion. The earthworks of Phase I total about 320 million cubic meters, with an investment of approximately US$600 million.

A total of 50 SANY machines will be delivered for this project. Thanks to their efficient and reliable performance, the first batch of 10 SY335C excavators has already been put into the project's earthworks and has performed excellently. The remaining 20 excavators and 20 pumping and road machinery units are being transported to the site in an orderly manner and will be put into place successively, providing strong support for the rapid advancement of the project.

The SANY Ethiopia team stated that it will rely on its localized service network and professional technical support to provide round-the-clock, full-lifecycle service assurance for the project, fully supporting the smooth completion of this "new gateway to Africa" project and jointly writing a new chapter of China-Africa cooperation.
