On February 27, at the construction site of the newly built Tongjiang Campus Project of Leshan No.7 Middle School, excavators were swinging their long arms, dump trucks shuttled back and forth, and more than a hundred builders wearing safety helmets were spread across various work faces carrying out rebar tying, formwork installation and earthwork operations, playing the "march of progress" of spring construction.

"We fully resumed work on the third day of the first lunar month. Project management personnel, workers and machinery operators are all full of energy, going all out to sprint toward the construction goals," said Li Yi, Party Secretary of the project department of the newly built Tongjiang Campus Project of Leshan No.7 Middle School under China Railway No.2 Engineering Group. At present, the project has successfully completed all pile foundation construction and officially entered the foundation construction stage. Earthwork excavation and hauling has accumulated about 350,000 cubic meters, completing 47% of the total works. The foundation earthwork and cushion layer of the teaching building have been fully completed, and rebar tying and formwork construction for the foundation are now underway, with progress reaching 20%; the pile caps and ground beams of the library and multi-functional lecture hall have all been completed, and backfilling of foundation earthwork is in progress.

"The project will complete large-scale earthwork excavation by the end of March and complete the topping-out of all main structures in May," Li Yi said with confidence, adding that they will work backward from the schedule, chart their battle plan, and ensure high-quality completion of the construction task within the total 270-day construction period.

It is understood that the newly built Tongjiang Campus Project of Leshan No.7 Middle School is adjacent to Leshan Wanda Plaza and the Wanda Campus of Leshan City Shizhong District People's Hospital. The project has a planned net land area of 46,997.5 square meters and a total floor area of about 29,181 square meters. The construction content covers six above-ground single buildings, including a comprehensive teaching building, a canteen and indoor sports field, and a library and multi-functional lecture hall, along with a supporting one-story underground garage, with complete functional facilities. After completion, the project will add more than 3,000 public school seats for the surrounding area, effectively alleviating the enrollment pressure in the region.
