Major urban construction projects in Yangzhou have fully resumed work and production.

On March 3, at the construction site of the west section of the non-railway segment of the Jiangping East Road East Extension Project, construction was in full swing across the entire line, with work currently focused on pile foundations within water cofferdams.

At present, pile foundation construction is underway within six cofferdams across the three rivers spanned by the west section of the non-railway segment of the Jiangping East Road East Extension Project. In-water construction will be completed before the flood season to ensure smooth river flow. To overcome key project milestones, the construction contractor has set the goal of "no reduction in quality, no slowdown in progress" and, based on geological conditions and construction techniques, has formulated a dedicated construction plan.

The project requires the construction of three bridges in total — the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Bridge, the Xinhe River Bridge, and the Fenghuang River Bridge.
