As of the end of February, the Lu'an North Station Comprehensive Transportation Hub construction project is being accelerated. Among the works, the track-bearing layer and mainline bridge construction in the station building area have been completed, and the project's pile foundation works have reached a completion rate of 70%; construction bidding for the station forecourt has been completed, and preparations for site entry, including site clearing and main structure erection, are underway; all railway-related roads have commenced construction, among which 2 newly built roads including Xinmin Road and 2 reconstructed and expanded roads including Yinquè Road have been completed, 6 roads including Gaotao Avenue are undergoing pipeline laying and installation, 5 roads including Shengli Road are undergoing cement-stabilized base construction, and 2 roads including Lanxi Road are undergoing utility tunnel construction.

The Lu'an North Station Comprehensive Transportation Hub construction project has a total investment of 2.7 billion yuan. Its main construction contents include the Lu'an North Station building project with a total floor area of 30,000 square meters; the Lu'an North Station forecourt and surrounding transportation system supporting projects, with the south square ground works including bus supporting buildings, a tourism information service center, supporting commercial facilities, ground parking lots, and all-weather covered corridors, as well as the south square elevated drop-off ramp and underground parking lot, and three station-access roads—Anmin Avenue, Wuli Road, and Liaocheng Road—along with surrounding municipal supporting roads passing under the railway. The project commenced construction in June 2025 and is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in June 2028.
