On February 26, China's first "Harry Potter Studio Tour" project, located at Jinjiang Action Park, completed the processing of its pile foundation construction permit and officially broke ground on site. The civil engineering works are scheduled for completion in January 2027. As a panoramic City Walk exploration project, it integrates film and television production with cultural exhibitions, offering immersive educational tours, roaming, multi-dimensional exploration, and the latest trend-setting experiences. It is a main tour building showcasing the filmmaking process of the Harry Potter™ film series. This is the world's third Harry Potter theme attraction, following London in the UK and Tokyo in Japan, and the first in China.

China's first "Harry Potter Studio Tour" project, located at Shanghai Jinjiang Action Park, has completed the processing of its pile foundation construction permit and officially broken ground on site. 

The project covers a land area of 58,648 square meters, with a total gross floor area of approximately 75,223.42 square meters, including 38,578.42 square meters above ground and 36,645 square meters underground. The overall construction period is more than two years. Jinjiang Action Park is Shanghai's first large-scale professional amusement park and holds fond memories of leisure and entertainment for Shanghai residents. After this renovation and upgrade of Jinjiang Action Park, all of the park's original amusement facilities will be demolished except for the hotel and the Ferris wheel, which will be retained. The Ferris wheel will be updated and rebuilt, with the new Ferris wheel tentatively set at a height of 118 meters.
