On the second day of the first lunar month, as households across the country immerse themselves in the joy of reunion during the Spring Festival, CITIC Heavy Industries Equipment Manufacturing (Zhangzhou) Co., Ltd., located in the Zhangzhou Development Zone, has already sounded the charge for production. In the workshop, frontline workers remain at their posts, racing against time to manufacture the pile foundation engineering for the 16MW-class floating wind turbine of CNOOC's Lufeng Oilfield Group clean energy power supply transformation demonstration project, striving toward first-quarter development goals with the practical commitment of "no work stoppage during Spring Festival, fighting for a strong start."

As China's first and the world's largest floating wind power project, the CNOOC Lufeng Oilfield Group demonstration project is led and promoted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and will build the world's first 16MW deep-sea tension-leg floating wind power platform. The implementation of this project has important demonstrative and leading significance for achieving key breakthroughs in China's deep-sea wind power technology and promoting large-scale development of the industry.

The pile foundation project undertaken by CITIC Heavy Industries Zhangzhou Company is the core foundational equipment of this floating wind turbine, featuring not only high technical barriers but also stringent manufacturing standards. The project includes one main pile foundation and 17 key components, with a total weight of 3,475 tons and a total length of 111 meters. Once completed, it will be deployed in deep-sea areas with water depths exceeding 100 meters, directly facing multiple challenges of complex marine environments.
