The construction of the Yinghe River Bridge at the Fucheng Delta, which has drawn much public attention, has reached a new milestone: the auxiliary road on the west section has been completed and opened to traffic, and construction of the main bridge and approach spans is now in full swing. At present, work at each node is proceeding steadily as planned, and the overall project is expected to be ready for traffic by the end of December 2027.

The west approach bridge of the Delta Yinghe River Bridge starts about 100 meters south of the Fuyang Commercial Building, within the Yinghe West Road (Yingshang North Road–Hebin Road) section; the east bank approach bridge lies within the Donghu Road (Yingbin South Road–Guoyang South Road) section. Approach bridge piers must be built in both sections, and water supply, low-voltage electrical and other utility lines within the areas were relocated in advance.
Localized closure and traffic control measures were implemented on Yinghe West Road (Yingshang North Road–Hebin Road), beginning with the closure of the sidewalks and non-motorized vehicle lanes on both sides of the road. The auxiliary roads (sidewalks and slow lanes) on both sides of Yinghe West Road have been reopened to motor vehicles and non-motorized traffic; barriers have been set up on both sides of the central express lanes, creating enclosed construction zones at the starting point of the approach bridge south of the Fuyang Commercial Building and at the Hebin Road intersection to the east, where machinery is carrying out pile foundation work for the approach bridge.
The road and drainage works (including water supply and low-voltage electrical systems) for the west-section auxiliary road of the Delta Yinghe River Bridge have been completed, and pile foundation construction on the west side is now formally underway. The Yinghe West Road connecting project's piers 0–4 (Yingshang North Road–Hebin Road) are designed with 30 piles, of which 12 have been completed, a completion rate of 40%.
Since construction began at the end of April 2025, the Delta Yinghe River Bridge project has completed the project department site, temporary plant facilities, and demolition of the old ship lock bridge; work is now advancing on pile foundations, pile caps, pier columns, continuous girder falsework, and road and drainage works.
Among these, the Yinghe West Road connecting project's piers 0–4 (Yingshang North Road–Hebin Road) are scheduled for completion by the end of May 2026; the Donghu Road connecting project's piers 24–29 (Yingbin South Road–Guoyang South Road) are under construction and scheduled for completion by the end of February 2026; the 225-meter steel box tied-arch bridge crossing the Yinghe River is scheduled to start in September 2026 and be completed by the end of April 2027; and the single-tower cable-stayed bridge crossing the ship lock (75 m + 85 m) is scheduled to start in November 2026 and be completed by August 2027.
The overall project is scheduled for completion by the end of December 2027, when it will be ready for traffic.
