On January 27, 2026, with the successful completion of concrete pouring for the last pile foundation, the pile foundation construction task of the New Huangjinbu Grand Bridge in Yugan County came to a successful conclusion. This breakthrough at a key milestone not only laid a solid foundation for the subsequent construction of pile caps and pier shafts, but also created favorable conditions for the efficient advancement of the G236 Wushan Line Yugan County Huangjinbu Section Reconstruction Project after the Spring Festival.

It is reported that the G236 Wushan Line Yugan County Huangjinbu Section Reconstruction Project has a total route length of 2.210 kilometers. The New Huangjinbu Grand Bridge, as the core control project of the project, has a total length of 1,193 meters and is designed with a total of 180 pile foundations (including 76 in-water piles and 104 onshore piles). The maximum designed diameter of the bridge's pile foundations reaches 2.2 meters, and the maximum drilling depth reaches 35 meters. The successful completion of this construction marks an important milestone in the project's advancement.

Since construction began on April 28, 2025, the project has consistently been guided by the goal of "building a century-quality project." Through scientific planning and precise measures, the construction team adopted a reverse-schedule approach to seize the golden construction window during the non-flood season, while strictly controlling project quality and progress. During construction, in response to the traffic pressure brought by the approaching Spring Festival travel rush, the team innovatively adopted night construction and staggered working hours, effectively reducing the impact of construction vehicles on local traffic. At the same time, they successfully overcame extreme weather challenges such as high temperatures during the flood season and freezing rain and snow in winter, ultimately achieving the full completion of the pile foundation construction task before the 2026 Spring Festival travel rush while ensuring construction safety and project quality.
