The project has a total investment of over 1 billion yuan and covers an area of 61 mu. Its main construction contents include a new circular-based new material production line, warehousing, and supporting facilities.

The project is expected to be completed in December 2027, which will strongly promote the industrial agglomeration of the park in the circular economy field and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of the regional economy.

It is reported that the project focuses on the resource utilization of low-value waste plastics in Shanghai. After reaching full production, it will process more than 150,000 tons of low-value waste plastics annually, significantly reducing the incineration volume and carbon emissions of waste plastics in the region, and promoting the deep transformation of Shanghai's waste plastics resource utilization model from "end-of-pipe disposal" to "source recycling."
