On January 19, the Xiong'an New Area Seminar on Green, Low-Carbon, High-Quality Construction, jointly organized by the Xiong'an New Area Construction and Transportation Administration Bureau and Jinmao Xiong'an, was held at the Sinochem Building in Xiong'an New Area. With the theme "Green Leadership, Low-Carbon Empowerment — Building a New Future of High-Quality Construction in Xiong'an New Area," the seminar brought together more than 150 participants, including heads of relevant government departments, industry experts, and enterprise representatives, to jointly explore new pathways for green construction and outline a new blueprint for high-quality development of the "City of the Future."

Xiong'an New Area has consistently adhered to the direction of green and low-carbon development, striving to deeply integrate "good housing" with green buildings. At present, the New Area promotes green building design, construction, and operation, with the proportion of high-star green buildings reaching 100%. It has formulated an indicator system for green ecological urban areas, issued and implemented the country's first local standard for zero-carbon buildings, and achieved full coverage of green blocks and green communities in newly built areas.

At the seminar, relevant officials from the Xiong'an New Area Construction and Transportation Administration Bureau systematically interpreted the policy framework and practical requirements for green and low-carbon development in the New Area. Xu Wei, a National Engineering Survey and Design Master, delivered a keynote lecture titled "Building the City of the Future — Zero-Carbon Building Technology System and Case Practice." Representatives from China Jinmao shared the company's innovative practices in fields such as ultra-low-energy buildings and smart energy management. During the exchange session, participating guests held in-depth discussions on topics including cost control, technical pathways, and operational management of zero-carbon buildings, building consensus on development.

It is reported that Jinmao Xiong'an took the lead in applying the "Xiong'an New Area Zero-Carbon Building Technical Standard" in the Sinochem Building project, implementing the design concept of "passive priority, active optimization" and comprehensively applying technical systems such as high-performance energy-saving curtain walls, distributed photovoltaics, and smart energy management. The project has obtained multiple authoritative certifications, including LEED Platinum, Green Building Three-Star, and Near-Zero Energy Building.

Looking ahead, Xiong'an New Area will further play its role as a bridge and bond, promote government-enterprise exchanges and cooperation, continue to advance green buildings and "good housing" construction, carry out demonstration creation of green blocks and green communities, and promote the large-scale development of near-zero-energy and near-zero-carbon buildings. At the same time, the New Area will practice green construction, improve project quality, promote green building materials, and strengthen the resource utilization of construction waste; actively build a new energy system with multi-energy complementarity and promote the application of green new energy; benchmark against advanced international standards, strive to create a model of green development city with global influence, and contribute Xiong'an wisdom and Xiong'an solutions to sustainable urban development worldwide.
