As an important transportation hub project in the northern urban area of Huainan,At the second bid section of the subgrade construction of the Huainan section of the S63 Huaiyuan–Fengtai Expressway, the construction site is bustling with activity, with various types of large machinery roaring and operating, and the builders racing against time to advance the project progress. The construction team planned ahead and adopted precise measures, actively overcoming difficulties such as low temperatures in winter concrete construction by increasing curing measures and other means, rushing the schedule and speeding up progress to ensure both project quality and progress.

Up to now, this bid section has completed 4.9 kilometers of surface clearing and 3.7 kilometers of the mainline construction access road; 32 culverts have been completed; 888 pile foundations have been poured; 162 pile caps have been constructed; 432 pier columns have been poured; and 188 beam slabs have been prefabricated, with all key processes proceeding in an orderly manner.

At the third bid section of the subgrade construction of the Huainan section of the S63 Huaiyuan–Fengtai Expressway, the construction site is likewise in full swing. Recently, the project construction of this bid section achieved key progress. Through the continuous efforts of all participating personnel, the last 40-meter box girder of the Provincial Highway 239 Bridge overpass section was safely and smoothly put in place, marking the successful completion of the key node project of the bridge overpass and laying a solid foundation for the subsequent bridge deck system and the full-line connection.

It is understood that the Huainan section of the S63 Huaiyuan–Fengtai Expressway starts at the junction of Dongwang Village, Jiagou Town, Panji District and Bengbu City, and runs from northeast to southwest, passing through Jiagou Town, south of Gugou Hui Ethnic Township, Tianji Subdistrict, north of Jiahe Town, and south of Luji Town in Panji District, and north of Fenghuang Town and south of Guiji Town in Fengtai County, ending at Yonggan Village, Guiji Town, and connecting directly with the Deshang Expressway. The main line of the project is about 37.1 kilometers long, with 5 interchange interchanges and 3 extra-large bridges, and is constructed to the standard of a two-way four-lane expressway.

Since the Huainan section project of the S63 Huaiyuan–Fengtai Expressway started construction in January 2025, the construction unit, Huainan Transportation Holding Group, has actively tackled difficulties and made every effort to advance the project progress. According to Zhou Wei of the Project Office of the Huainan Section of the S63 Huaiyuan–Fengtai Expressway of Huainan Transportation Holding Group, in order to guarantee project construction, the group innovated its service model and arranged dedicated personnel to provide "one-on-one" precise matching services, coordinating work such as building material supply, machinery allocation, and personnel support, thereby building a solid guarantee for the orderly advancement of the overall project progress.

This road section is an important transportation hub in the northern urban area of Huainan. After the project is completed, it will further improve the regional road network structure, enhance traffic efficiency between surrounding cities, and actively promote the economic and social development of areas along the route. Next, the project office will continue to focus on the bottlenecks and difficulties in project construction, make precise efforts and solve them efficiently, and accelerate the advancement of project construction.
