On January 14, the "2025 Top 100 Chinese Overseas Brands Index Report" was recently released. Three Hunan enterprises were selected for their outstanding globalization achievements: Lens Technology, Sany Group, and Zoomlion.
The report was jointly compiled by the Overseas Edition of People's Daily Online and the GYBrand Global Brand Research Institute, and serves as an important bellwether for measuring the level of globalization of Chinese enterprises. The report conducts a comprehensive evaluation mainly from four core dimensions: overseas performance, brand building, brand contribution, and sustainable development, to select the top 100 overseas enterprises. The listed companies are distributed across 40 cities in 19 regions nationwide, covering 20 major industries. All are industry leaders with overseas revenue exceeding 5 billion yuan, with average overseas revenue reaching as high as 110 billion yuan.
The three selected Hunan enterprises have clear overseas expansion paths with distinctive characteristics, all showing a common trend of upgrading from "product export" to "brand and technology export."
Lens Technology's globalization is reflected in its diversified business drivers and resilient supply chain layout. The company's core consumer electronics business has grown steadily, and it has proactively expanded into emerging businesses such as smart vehicles, robotics, and AR glasses, while building overseas production bases in Vietnam and Thailand to enhance risk resistance.
Sany Group and Zoomlion, as the "twin stars" of Hunan's construction machinery industry, continue to lead the equipment manufacturing sector's overseas expansion, with their overseas revenue shares growing year after year. Through measures such as real-time online management of global equipment and the deployment of overseas new energy projects, Sany Group has transformed from a construction machinery product exporter into a global green infrastructure solutions provider. Publicly disclosed data shows that Sany Group's overseas revenue accounted for more than 60% in the first three quarters of 2025. Zoomlion, meanwhile, is enhancing its global competitiveness through deep digitalization and localization, accelerating the construction of factories in Germany and Hungary, and continuously investing in R&D and overseas system development, initially forming a localized supply chain in Europe. In the first three quarters of 2025, Zoomlion's overseas revenue share continued to rise to 57.36%.
