Since the full launch of the "100-Day Sprint" campaign on the Xiangyang segment of the Pingyi Expressway, all five sections along the line have anchored their milestone targets and sounded the drumbeat of endeavor. With a sense of urgency that brooks no delay, they have set off a construction boom of emulation and catch-up on the Xiangyang segment of the Pingyi Expressway. Up to now, key projects in each section have made breakthroughs at multiple points and good news has kept pouring in, with the established milestone targets fully achieved. A major transportation artery carrying the development hopes of the "Golden Triangle" region is taking shape at an accelerated pace.

Section 1: Leaders Stationed On-Site to Strengthen Support; Good News in the Pile Foundation Drive

As the starting section of the full-line drive, all construction personnel of Pingyi Section 1, under the strong support of back-office leaders stationed on-site to direct operations, anchored their milestones and tackled difficulties head-on, successfully completing all established milestone targets. Facing challenges such as interchange crossover construction and difficult coordination, the stationed leaders took the lead in scheduling and focused their efforts precisely, regularly convening on-site progress meetings and special briefing sessions, and repeatedly discussing and formulating measures for issues such as the beam yard section plan, subgrade and culvert schedules, relocation and external work stoppages. The project established a Party member vanguard team, waged a mapped-out battle, worked to a reverse schedule, coordinated resource allocation, and went all out to advance bridge pile foundation construction. At present, the bridge pile foundation completion rate in this section exceeds 90%, with subgrade filling and culvert construction following in step, laying a solid foundation for subsequent superstructure construction.

Section 2: Central and Private Enterprises Join Hands to Pool Strength; A Strong Alliance Writes a New Chapter

As the section implementing the policy of "encouraging private enterprises to participate in transportation infrastructure construction," Pingyi Section 2 gives full play to the collaborative effectiveness of the technical advantages of central state-owned enterprises and the flexible mechanisms of private enterprises, pressing the construction "fast-forward button" through a "strong alliance" model. The central enterprise team brings mature bridge construction technology and a standardized management system, while the private enterprise team, with its strong coordination ability and flexible construction organization, efficiently advances subgrade construction. The two sides established a joint task force, optimized the construction plan, and implemented a mechanism of "seamless process connection and dynamic resource allocation," fully improving the utilization rate of machinery and equipment. The precast beam yard within the section is about to be completed first, setting a new "progress benchmark" for project construction.

Section 3: Overcoming Difficulties Across Many Points and Broad Areas; Scientific Control Improves Efficiency

With construction characteristics of "many points, long lines and broad areas," Pingyi Section 3 has become a key area of the full-line drive, and the construction progress of the Yuntaishan Reservoir Bridge, a full-line controlling project, affects the overall project situation even more. Facing construction difficulties such as multiple crossed processes and scattered work faces, the project department anchored its milestone targets, planned scientifically with a "one chessboard" mindset, precisely divided construction units, and simultaneously advanced multiple work faces including subgrade, bridges and tunnels, achieving an efficient construction pattern of "blossoming at multiple points and parallel operations," with the drive continuing to surge. At present, the pile foundation and pile cap construction of the main bridge of the Yuntaishan Reservoir Bridge have been fully completed, and pier column construction is 32.3% complete, paving the way for superstructure construction of the bridge; all six tunnels have broken through, with cumulative excavation of more than 600 meters. The overall progress of the section is steadily ahead of plan.

Section 4: Smartly Breaking Through Geological Roadblocks; Forging Ahead in Overcoming Difficulties

Pingyi Section 4 directly confronted the construction predicament of complex geology for bridge pile foundations, immediately adjusted and optimized the construction plan, and specifically deployed high-power large rotary drilling rigs for operations, significantly improving the efficiency of hard rock breaking construction; for special work points where machinery cannot enter, it resolutely adjusted construction techniques in light of terrain conditions to ensure the steady progress of bridge pile foundation construction. To solve the problem of limited site space and achieve the goal of simultaneous excavation and simultaneous pouring of multiple pile caps, the project department innovatively introduced the steel sheet pile cofferdam support technique, building a stable working space through closely arranged steel sheet pile support, greatly reducing the land area required for traditional sloped excavation. Facing the challenge of difficult portal construction at the Daliangshan No. 2 Tunnel, all builders united their efforts and overcame difficulties, going all out to advance tunnel portal construction. At present, the Daliangshan No. 2 Tunnel has successfully broken through, with excavation exceeding 150 meters, laying a solid foundation for achieving the subsequent tunnel breakthrough target.

Section 5: Catching Up to Close the Gap; Turning the Tables and Achieving Good Results

Pingyi Section 5 directly faced the pressure of slow early construction progress and, with the drive posture of "unwilling to lag behind and rising to catch up," went all out to reverse the passive construction situation. The project department comprehensively reviewed the reasons for the lag, re-optimized the construction organization design, adjusted personnel and machinery allocation, and opened up multiple parallel work faces. All construction personnel carried forward the striving spirit of "day plus night" and "five plus two," working hard to catch up on key projects such as subgrade excavation, pile foundation construction and tunnel construction. Ultimately, the section completed its established milestone targets well, achieving a splendid transformation from "chaser" to "target achiever."
