On December 26, XCMG Group and the School of Mechanical Engineering of Shanghai Jiao Tong University held a signing and unveiling ceremony for the "Joint Laboratory for Construction Machinery Reliability and Quality."

The establishment of this joint laboratory marks a new stage in the cooperation between the two parties, moving from "project collaboration" to "strategic synergy."

       Yang Dongsheng, Chairman and Party Secretary of XCMG Group and XCMG Machinery, stated that the joint laboratory will focus on four core orientations: "reliability improvement, quality upgrading, intelligent manufacturing applications,

and joint talent cultivation." It will deeply integrate Shanghai Jiao Tong University's research strengths with XCMG's industrial scenarios, forging a new high-quality development path that uses scientific and technological innovation to lead industrial innovation

and uses industrial upgrading to feed back into technological iteration.

      Academician Lin Zhongqin, former President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, stated that the joint laboratory should always base itself on the actual needs of the construction machinery industry and focus on key pain points such as reliability improvement

and quality control, promoting close integration between research and frontline production. At the same time, it should strengthen an open and innovative mindset, integrate the strengths of both parties,

and build the laboratory into a highland for tackling common industry technologies and gathering innovation resources.

       Both parties signed the joint laboratory cooperation agreement. Lin Zhongqin and Yang Dongsheng jointly unveiled the joint laboratory.

       The "Joint Laboratory for Construction Machinery Reliability and Quality" will integrate the advantageous strengths of relevant disciplines at the School of Mechanical Engineering of Shanghai Jiao Tong University,

target the reliability needs and quality improvement challenges of construction machinery, and build a collaborative innovation platform integrating basic research, key technology breakthroughs, engineering application validation, and talent cultivation,

providing strong support for the transformation and upgrading of the construction machinery manufacturing industry and the quality and safety assurance of major national engineering projects.
