On December 18, a phased breakthrough was achieved in the shield tunnel construction of the Fu-Pu-Ning Intercity Railway. The first base slab of the Changle Airport section of the F2 and F3 lines was completed, marking the project's official entry into the main structure construction stage and empowering the development of an integrated transportation network in the Fuzhou metropolitan area.

     The first base slab poured this time is located in the open-cut and covered section of the project's shield tunnel, measuring 18 meters long, 14.1 meters wide and 1.3 meters thick, with a cumulative concrete pour of 348.62 cubic meters. As the core foundation of the tunnel's main structure, the construction quality of the base slab is directly related to the safety and overall stability of subsequent works.

     The successful completion of this pour will effectively enhance the overall stability of the tunnel foundation pit and create favorable conditions for subsequent earthwork excavation, main structure construction and shield machine launching.
