12月15日，青岛胶州湾第二隧道建设取得关键进展，其南线主线隧道盾构段掘进成功突破3000米，提前达成重要节点目标。
该隧道全长17.48公里，其中海域段长达9.95公里，是目前世界在建最长的海底道路隧道。隧道设计时速80公里，建成后将成为连接青岛主城区与西海岸新区的核心交通动脉。
