On the afternoon of December 10, with the completion of the final truckload of concrete pouring, the 1000th pile foundation of the Zhejiang G15 Shenhai Expressway Ningbo Jiangshan–Xiwu Section Reconstruction and Expansion Project, undertaken by the East China Company of CCCC Road & Bridge Construction Co., Ltd., was successfully poured.

      It is reported that the Zhejiang G15 Shenhai Expressway Ningbo Jiangshan–Xiwu Section Reconstruction and Expansion Project is one of the key projects of Zhejiang Province's "Thousand Projects, Trillion Yuan" initiative and Ningbo City's transportation infrastructure construction. The project starts at the Jiangshan North Interchange in Yinzhou District, runs south through Yinzhou District and Fenghua District, and ends at the southwest side of Xiwu Subdistrict in Fenghua, connecting with the Ningbo Xiwu–Ma'aoiling Section of the G15 Shenhai Expressway, with a total length of 14.089 kilometers. The section undertaken by the East China Company of CCCC Road & Bridge Construction Co., Ltd. is 5.343 kilometers long, with main construction content including bridges, subgrades and other works; the number of pile foundations within the section reaches 1,939.

      The pile foundation poured this time is 45 meters long with a diameter of 1.8 meters, and a total of 128 cubic meters of concrete was poured. The project team of the East China Company of CCCC Road & Bridge Construction Co., Ltd. planned ahead and organized meticulously, convening special meetings on pile foundation construction, continuously optimizing the construction plan, solidly carrying out safety training and technical briefings, and strictly implementing quality control requirements to ensure efficient and orderly pile foundation construction.

      After completion, the project will effectively alleviate the saturated traffic pressure on the current Ningbo–Taizhou–Wenzhou Expressway and further optimize the national coastal comprehensive transportation corridor. In the future, together with the Yongguan Expressway, it will form an important transportation artery for Ningbo heading south to Taizhou, Wenzhou and deeper into Fujian, and is of great significance for further enhancing Ningbo's connection with the eastern coastal economic belt and giving play to the scale benefits of Ningbo's expressway network.
