On December 9, Unit 3 of the Guangdong Yudean Dabu Power Plant Phase II 2×1000 MW Project, a key energy project in Guangdong Province undertaken by Henan Engineering Company, successfully completed its 168-hour full-load trial operation and was formally handed over for commercial operation, adding solid support for regional energy supply security and high-quality economic and social development in Guangdong Province.

As a key project under Guangdong Province's 14th Five-Year Plan for energy development, the Dabu Power Plant Phase II Project established the design philosophy of "green and environmentally friendly, technologically advanced, innovative management, and energy-saving and efficient" from the very beginning of planning. The project applies internationally leading ultra-supercritical coal-fired power generation technology and ultra-clean emission technology, achieving an excellent balance between energy efficiency and environmental performance. Its net coal consumption for power supply is as low as 265 g/kWh, reaching the industry-leading level.

Through the triple environmental purification process of high-efficiency denitrification, deep dust removal, and precise desulfurization, the unit's flue gas emission concentrations are consistently better than national standards, with smoke and dust, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen oxide emissions controlled below 5 mg/m³, 25 mg/m³, and 35 mg/m³ respectively. With concrete "ultra-low emission" data, the project has fulfilled its commitment to green development and built an intelligent demonstration power plant that coexists harmoniously with green mountains and clear waters.

Since construction began in September 2022, the project has achieved "first-time success" in major milestones including energization of the station service power system, boiler hydrostatic test, turbine cylinder closing, boiler ignition and steam blowing, first grid connection of the unit, and the 168-hour trial operation. After being handed over for commercial operation, the project will significantly enhance the safety and reliability of local power supply, help Guangdong Province build a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient energy security system, and continue to promote high-quality regional economic and social development.
