On November 30 local time in Colombia, the Baranoa III 23.3 MW photovoltaic project undertaken by Sinohydro Bureau 11 Co., Ltd. was successfully connected to the grid 31 days ahead of schedule. This came just five days after the first power generation of the Escobales 148 MW photovoltaic project on November 25, marking another PV project smoothly grid-connected ahead of schedule and achieving a "double commissioning in one month."

The Baranoa III PV project is located in the city of Baranoa, Atlántico Department, Colombia, with an installed capacity of 23.3 MW. The smooth grid connection of this project marks that Sinohydro Bureau 11 has become the first enterprise in the Americas to achieve "synchronous power generation of two projects" within one week, fully demonstrating the project cluster management team's professional capabilities and systematic management level in organizational management, resource coordination, and collaborative advancement, which has received full recognition and high praise from the owner.

During the construction process, the project team carried forward the spirit of "shouldering responsibility, unity from top to bottom, and the ability to fight and win." While promoting the rooting and development of China's photovoltaic industry chain in Latin America with a solid work style, the team actively integrated into the local environment, respected and embraced local culture, and made positive contributions to promoting the sustainable development of Colombia's society and economy. During the project construction, it received high recognition from the Chinese Embassy in Colombia and strong support from the Atlántico Department government and relevant departments, providing a strong guarantee for the smooth implementation of the project.

After being put into operation, the Baranoa Phase III project will work together with the Phase I project to build a new pattern of regional clean energy, providing an average of 50 million kWh of clean electricity annually, meeting the annual electricity demand of approximately 26,600 households, and reducing approximately 20,500 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year, vigorously boosting the local green energy transition.
