On November 23 local time, good news came from the Morocco Jerada O&M Project Department of SEPCOIII: the cumulative power generation in 2025 reached 2.451 billion kWh, successfully completing the annual power generation target 39 days ahead of schedule.

In 2025, the Morocco Jerada O&M Project Department anchored itself to the annual power generation target and made improving equipment reliability a core task. The project department made full use of low-load periods of the units to carry out defect elimination work precisely, ensuring the safe and stable operation of power station equipment with a 100% hidden-trouble closed-loop rate. At the same time, the project O&M team continued to make breakthroughs in energy conservation, consumption reduction, and technological innovation. Through multiple measures such as optimizing combustion adjustment, improving DCS logic control, and refining operational procedures, it effectively enhanced unit operating efficiency. During the O&M period, the project department always adhered to safety management as the bottom line, technological innovation as the driving force, and service quality as the starting point, comprehensively ensuring the long-term safe and efficient operation of the power station and the stable and full-load output of the units, ultimately completing the 2025 annual power generation target 39 days ahead of schedule.

As Morocco's first supercritical coal-fired unit, this project adopted "Chinese design, Chinese equipment, Chinese construction, Chinese O&M, and Chinese technology" throughout the entire process. It is the first power station EPC general contracting project undertaken by a Chinese enterprise in Morocco and the opening chapter of cooperation between China and Morocco in the field of power O&M. It undertakes the country's main power generation and grid peak-shaving tasks. Up to now, under the meticulous O&M of Huafeng Weiye Company, a professional commissioning and O&M unit under SEPCOIII, the power station has completed its annual power generation target ahead of schedule for eight consecutive years, with cumulative power generation exceeding 20.55 billion kWh, providing a steady supply of electricity for local economic and social development. It is of positive significance to the high-quality joint construction of the "Belt and Road" between China and Morocco and has further enhanced the visibility and competitiveness of the Group Company's power station O&M brand in the North African power market.
