Recently, four clean energy projects undertaken by PowerChina Chengdu Engineering Corporation achieved key milestones toward commissioning, injecting green momentum into regional economic and social development: the Aba Rangtang Puxi Section II Photovoltaic Power Generation EPC Project, the Chuantou Luzhou Natural Gas 220 kV EPC Project, the Shangdu Industrial Park 300 MW Green Power Supply Project, and the Chuo Sijia Hydropower Station.

The Aba Rangtang Puxi Section II Photovoltaic Power Generation Project is located on the eastern slopes of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau at an altitude of 4,200 to 4,590 meters, with a total installed capacity of 350 MW and a supporting 35 MW energy storage system. In this extreme environment, the construction team innovatively applied technologies such as drone-based AI inspection to ensure high-quality project progress, and adopted a "grass-photovoltaic complementary" model to achieve a win-win of ecological protection and clean energy production. Once fully operational, the project is expected to generate an average annual power output of 680 million kWh.

The Chuantou Luzhou Natural Gas 220 kV Project has been fully completed and put into operation in southern Sichuan. The project includes the construction of approximately 50 km of double-circuit lines and the expansion of substation bays, and plays an important role in enhancing the reliability of the southern Sichuan power grid and optimizing the province's energy structure. Facing challenges such as a tight schedule and difficult coordination, the project team ensured high-quality and efficient completion through refined management and the application of advanced construction methods, and is expected to help reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 912,000 tons per year.

In Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia, the booster station of the CRRC Shangdu Industrial Park 300 MW Green Power Supply Project recently achieved a successful one-time back-feed energization. The project comprises 200 MW of wind power and 100 MW of photovoltaic power. Since construction began in March 2025, the construction team has overcome difficulties and achieved the key milestone in only eight months, laying the foundation for subsequent full-capacity grid connection. The project adopts an integrated "green power + industry" development model; once operational, it will generate approximately 600 million kWh per year, effectively promoting local energy transition and industrial upgrading.

In addition, the back-feed energization of the Chuo Sijia Hydropower Station, a key energy project in Aba Prefecture, has also been successfully completed, marking the station's official entry into the sprint phase toward grid-connected power generation. The hydropower station has a total installed capacity of 392 MW. Facing enormous pressure from parallel equipment bidding and construction design, the design team efficiently completed all design tasks, providing solid technical support for project advancement. The station is expected to achieve power generation from its first unit in December 2025.
