On the morning of November 18, a 34-member delegation from the China-Brazil Power and Energy Exchange and Cooperation Seminar visited Power Construction Corporation of China (POWERCHINA). The seminar was hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by POWERCHINA Zhongnan Engineering Corporation. The participants came from Brazil's Ministry of Energy and regulatory, operating, and research institutions in the power industry, as well as well-known power companies. The seminar aimed to promote bilateral cooperation between China and Brazil in hydropower, new energy, energy storage, pumped storage, and power transmission and distribution through China-Brazil energy and power technology exchanges, and to establish a stable, efficient, and sustainable cooperative relationship.

At the meeting, seminar participants exchanged views with the company on issues of interest, focusing on the coordinated integration of power projects with local communities, the comparison of advantages and applicable scenarios between pumped storage and battery energy storage technologies, the application potential of hydrogen energy in addressing climate change, development plans in new energy fields such as concentrated solar power and offshore wind power, and China's practical experience in long-distance power transmission.

Relevant personnel from the company's Technical Support Center, Investment and Financing Business Center, Americas Regional Headquarters, and Zhongnan Engineering Corporation attended the meeting.
