On November 19, the award ceremony of the First Shandong Youth Innovation Craftsman Innovation and Efficiency Competition was held at Weichai. Relevant leaders from the Shandong Provincial Defense, Machinery and Electronics Trade Union and the Weifang Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, team leaders of participating units, and representatives of contestants attended the event.

The competition was hosted by the Shandong Provincial Federation of Trade Unions and organized by the Shandong Provincial Defense, Machinery and Electronics Trade Union, the Weifang Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, and the Trade Union of Weichai Holding Group Co., Ltd. Launched in mid-July and lasting four months, the competition saw expert judges from various industries conduct group reviews and on-site defenses of the submitted achievements. A large number of young craftsmen with innovative spirit and practical ability emerged, and a batch of innovative achievements with high application value and promotion prospects were produced. At the award ceremony, outstanding young craftsmen and excellent organizing units were commended.

Among them, Weichai Group won the Excellent Organization Award of the competition. Three projects won first prizes: "Research and Application of Robotic Assembly Technology in Engine Production Sites" by Song Yongzheng's team, "Research and Application of High-End Engine Assembly, Testing and Inspection Technology" by Bu Xianlu's team, and "Research and Application of Automatic Assembly Technology for High-End Diesel Engine Crankshaft Dampers" by You Peigen's team. Five projects, including "Efficient Collaborative Construction of an Automatic Assembly Line for High-End Engine Fuel Distributors" by Jing Yuanzhu's team, won second prizes. Eight projects, including "Improvement of Front and Rear Oil Seal Press-Fitting Quality and Compatibility" by Yu Yongzhen's team, won third prizes.

In recent years, through measures such as building a "four-in-one" training mechanism of training, practice, competition and promotion, establishing craftsman innovation studios, and implementing youth craftsman training programs, outstanding skilled talents have continued to emerge at Weichai, laying a solid talent foundation for the company's high-quality development.
