数据显示，2010到2012年间，德国机械生产的实际增长高达24%。相关专家预计，2013年德国机械生产值将达1950亿欧元（与2012年持平），营业额将创2170亿欧元的纪录。同时，2012年德国还成功保住了机械制造领域的出口冠军头衔。
今年8月份生产型企业在德国的产量大幅增加，主要原因是资本物品的生产增多。德国联邦政府预计2014年的经济增长达1.7%。
