Recently, the five-star hotel project in Nouakchott, the capital of Mauritania, undertaken by PowerChina Port and Waterway Engineering Co., Ltd., successfully passed the temporary acceptance inspection.

This temporary acceptance was jointly organized by the owner and an international hotel management group, which engaged a joint expert panel composed of the internationally renowned architectural consulting firm DAR and the local authoritative institution COTEM to conduct a comprehensive review of the project's civil works, mechanical and electrical systems, interior fine decoration, and landscape engineering. The acceptance work was carried out strictly in accordance with European standards and the international specifications of the hotel management group, lasting three months and focusing on verifying building structural safety, the operation of mechanical and electrical systems, decoration craftsmanship, and environmental protection indicators. After comprehensive evaluation, the committee unanimously determined that all indicators of the project met the design specifications and contract requirements, and agreed to pass the temporary acceptance.

As Mauritania's first international five-star hotel, the project was constructed throughout using the European standards system. During the mechanical and electrical installation phase, prefabricated modular technology was applied to achieve precise connection of complex pipeline systems; during the decoration phase, acoustic comfort and indoor environmental standards were strictly implemented, and modular construction ensured craftsmanship precision. At the acceptance summary meeting, the owner stated that the project demonstrated the international standards of a five-star hotel through outstanding engineering quality, and that its rigorous construction management and spirit of technological innovation were impressive.

This project is not only an important breakthrough in Mauritania's high-end hotel market, but also a vivid embodiment of the company's practice of the "Belt and Road" Initiative and its deepening of China-Africa practical cooperation.
