On the morning of the 24th, the opening ceremony of the competition kicked off at the Xiamen Road & Bridge Baicheng Low-Altitude Industry Operation Base. Cai Jiahe, First-Level Researcher of the Xiamen Municipal Housing and Construction Bureau; Jian Zhida of the Jimei District Federation of Trade Unions of Xiamen; Hong Xiaoqiang, Deputy Director of the Xiamen Municipal Housing and Construction Bureau; Xu Wangtu, President of the Fujian Provincial Civil Engineering and Construction Industry Association; Wang Jieshan, Secretary-General of the Fujian Provincial Civil Engineering and Construction Industry Association; Li Wei, Dean of the Research Institute of C&D Hocheng Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd.; Zheng Jianhui, Deputy General Manager of Zhongmin Mingtai Group Co., Ltd.; Zhang Sanyang, General Manager of Jingdao Information Technology Co., Ltd.; and other leaders attended the event.

As a representative of cutting-edge technology, drone technology is developing rapidly with unprecedented momentum, and its application boundaries continue to expand, having become an important engine driving social progress. Against this background, with the purpose of promoting the "craftsman spirit," this competition is dedicated to advancing and achieving breakthroughs in drone operation skills in the surveying and mapping field, comprehensively strengthening surveying and mapping support capabilities, and aiming to inject strong momentum into the high-quality development of the surveying and mapping cause in Fujian Province and across the country.

Association President Xu Wangtu delivered a speech for the competition. He first, in light of the requirements of the era for the development of new quality productive forces, introduced the remarkable achievements made in the drone specialty in areas such as technological research and development and application expansion; he then profoundly elaborated on the important position of the surveying and mapping industry as a foundational and strategic industry in supporting national economic construction and serving the overall situation of social development; at the same time, he clearly pointed out the significance of this competition in promoting learning through competition and training through competition, and in advancing skilled talent cultivation and technological improvement across the entire industry. Finally, President Xu Wangtu expressed sincere and best wishes for the smooth conduct and complete success of this competition.

Witnessed by all attendees, the representative of the judges and the representative of the contestants took the stage one after another and solemnly swore an oath, promising to strictly abide by the competition principles of fairness, impartiality, and openness.

This competition was led and organized by the Fujian Provincial Civil Engineering and Construction Industry Association and received strong support from a number of leading enterprises and universities. The competition was grouped by team and consisted of two parts: theoretical testing and practical operation.

At the theoretical assessment site, the contestants were fully focused and wrote diligently. They calmly responded to various types of questions, committing their solid theoretical foundation and rich professional knowledge to paper. This was not only a test of knowledge but also a silent contest of thinking, fully demonstrating their rigorous and truth-seeking professional quality.

During the compact one-day schedule, all contestants devoted themselves wholeheartedly, displaying their solid professional quality and superb operational skills to the fullest. From the rapid assembly and debugging of drones to precise route planning and execution, and then to efficient data collection and processing, every stage fully reflected the contestants' deep understanding and proficient application of drone technology, showcasing the outstanding technical level and comprehensive capabilities of surveying and mapping talent in the new era.

Chief Judge Zheng Jianhui commented on the competition. He affirmed the efforts made by all participating units and contestants in the drone surveying and mapping event and pointed out the goals and direction for the contestants. He alsoannounced the results of this competition and expressed congratulations to the winning contestants.

The three leaders presented certificates and prize money to the representatives of the winning individuals and units.
