On October 26, Yuchai's IE-Power hybrid powertrain won the "Innovative Product Gold Award" at the 2025 China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition. Yuchai became the only company at the exhibition to receive a gold award.

As the world's first hybrid electric-drive continuously variable transmission powertrain, the Yuchai IE-Power hybrid powertrain opens up a new path for continuously variable transmissions in tractors and successfully resolves a key bottleneck problem in the agricultural machinery sector. The medium and large tractors it is paired with operate with lower noise, offer more convenient control, improve operating efficiency by 15%-35%, and achieve fuel savings of up to 40%, providing a mature and reliable power solution for the electrification, intelligentization, and low-carbon transformation of agricultural equipment in China and worldwide.

Currently, the Yuchai IE-Power hybrid powertrain is established in major domestic agricultural regions such as Xinjiang, Ningxia, Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang, and Shandong, and is exported to overseas markets including Europe and Southeast Asia. It has accumulated more than 30,000 hours of operation and, with its stable performance and outstanding economic benefits, has won high recognition from domestic and international customers, experts, and scholars.
