On October 17, 2025, the Post-Show Information Release and Media Symposium of the 17th China (Beijing) International Construction Machinery, Building Material Machinery and Mining Machinery Exhibition (BICES 2025) was held in Beijing. At the meeting, Wu Peiguo, Secretary-General of the China Construction Machinery Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association) and Chairman of Beijing Tianshi Huagong International Exhibition Co., Ltd., delivered a speech entitled "Introduction to the Final Relevant Data of BICES 2025 and the Activities and Operational Organization." The following is the transcript of the speech.

Good morning, everyone!

With the strong support of all parties, BICES 2025 successfully came to a close on September 26, 2025.

First of all, please allow me, on behalf of the exhibition organizer Beijing Tianshi Huagong International Exhibition Co., Ltd., to express our heartfelt thanks to all friends from the media, and through you, to all exhibitors, visitors, and all sectors of society for their strong support of BICES 2025!

Below I will give you a brief report on the relevant aspects of the operation of BICES 2025.

I. Relevant Data of This Exhibition

On the second day after the exhibition closed (September 27), based on the cumulative summary of the exhibitors in the graphic and textual corridor exhibition area of scientific and technological innovation achievements in the construction machinery industry, the four theme pavilions, one outdoor comprehensive exhibition area, and thirteen featured zones, as well as the preliminary statistical data of cumulative visitor entries, the organizer promptly released a quick report of the exhibition data to meet the needs of some exhibitors and visitors to promptly write their exhibition summary reports. After detailed verification following the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, the relevant data are officially released today as follows:

1. Number of Exhibitors at This Exhibition

The quick report listed 1,315 exhibitors. After checking for duplicates among the participants in each exhibition area, especially the graphic and textual corridor exhibition area of scientific and technological innovation achievements in the construction machinery industry and the thirteen industry-specific zones; and after verification with the exhibitors, on the basis of legal entities, by screening out duplicate exhibitors and correcting inaccurate exhibitor names, the final confirmed number of exhibitors at BICES 2025 is 1,208, which is officially released today.

It is particularly worth noting that, in order to comprehensively display the industry's scientific and technological innovation achievements, BICES has specially set up a scientific and technological innovation achievement exhibition area since 2019. This year, in the form of the graphic and textual corridor of scientific and technological innovation achievements in the construction machinery industry, it provided a centralized display for units that have made outstanding achievements in the industry's scientific and technological progress in the new era. At the same time, in order to implement the national spirit of supporting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, in light of the current industry reality, and to fully reflect the purpose of the Association in organizing the exhibition, for some small and medium-sized enterprises that were unable to participate in the exhibition in physical form, the relevant branches of the Association took the lead in arranging them in featured zones on a centralized basis, supporting their displays in various forms such as graphics and texts, models, and videos. This was widely praised by small and medium-sized enterprises and demonstrated the mission and responsibility of the organizers as an industry organization and a central state-owned enterprise in fulfilling social responsibilities.

2. Data on Domestic and International Professional Visitors at This Exhibition

The quick report listed 148,000 visitor entries. After comparison and verification with the exhibition venue and registration service providers, in terms of the number of professional visitors, after removing multiple repeat entries and exhibitor personnel, the cumulative number of professional visitors who entered through turnstiles was 30,319. One point that needs clarification is that some invited visitors entered directly through the conference area and did not pass through the turnstiles.

The quick report stated that international visitors came from 73 countries and regions. After final verification, the international visitors (including Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan regions) at this exhibition came from 85 countries and regions, an increase of 12 over the previous edition. The total number of international visitors was basically the same as the previous edition, but among them, professional visitors from Asian countries and regions increased by 59.6% year on year, while professional visitors from Russia declined by 9.4%. There were 11 international visiting delegations, mainly from Vietnam, South Korea, Russia, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, India, and other countries and regions.

According to final statistics, domestic relevant user units organized a total of 43 professional visiting delegations and professional user visiting delegations from 9 provinces for this exhibition. Many central state-owned enterprise headquarters in Beijing and local user units gave positive evaluations of the exhibition, and the relevant evaluations will be published in the exhibition report.

These data show that the organizer's early efforts in visiting 10 provinces and cities domestically, extensively inviting central state-owned enterprise construction units, and broadly carrying out international publicity and promotion have achieved relatively obvious results.

The specific situation of international publicity and invitation work will be specially introduced by Gao Jun, Assistant to the President of the Machinery Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (hereinafter referred to as the CCPIT Machinery Industry Branch).

II. Nearly 100 High-Quality Activities Presented as Scheduled

The organizers of various activities at BICES 2025 held nearly 100 high-quality concurrent conferences and activities, forming the distinctive feature of deep integration between "exhibition" and "conference." 

Statistics show that the exhibition organizers directly organized 27 important conferences and activities, among which: the Association and its affiliated branches organized 23 conferences and activities, the CCPIT Machinery Industry Branch organized 2 activities, and the three organizers jointly organized 2 activities; relevant cooperative media and cooperative units organized 5 conferences and activities; and many exhibitors also took advantage of the exhibition period to hold dozens of new product launch events and customer exchange meetings, carrying out activities such as strategic planning releases, new product releases, on-site signings, and on-site demonstrations. The rich and high-quality concurrent activities made BICES 2025 a veritable feast of ideas and greatly enhanced the knowledge content and professional depth of the exhibition. At the activities, relevant leaders, enterprise representatives, industry experts, and users jointly discussed industrial policies, technology trends, market opportunities and challenges, providing important references for industry enterprises to comprehensively and systematically understand the latest industry development trends and make decisions on future development directions at the key time node of planning for the "15th Five-Year Plan."

III. Organized the Collection and Release of "New Technologies, New Products, and New Achievements"

At this exhibition, about more than 10,000 kinds of construction machinery, building material machinery, and mining machinery technologies, products, and construction solutions were centrally displayed. Each exhibitor displayed new technologies and new products successfully developed in recent years according to market needs, and some achieved remarkable application results. According to the materials initially submitted by enterprises, each new product and new application is empowered and supported by multiple new technologies, reflecting the continuous new progress in the innovative development of construction machinery.

During BICES 2025, the first batch of compilation materials on new technologies, new products, and new achievements from a total of 57 enterprises, namely the "Three New" compilation, was already printed and distributed. The exhibited products involved in the materials specifically described the relevant main innovation points and key technologies applied, and some also introduced the product market situation. Subsequently, we will continue to solicit opinions from exhibitors, collect and organize the "Three New" achievements displayed at this exhibition, and print and release the "Three New" compilation materials in batches.

IV. Carried Out All-Dimensional and Three-Dimensional Exhibition Publicity

At this exhibition, nearly 100 domestic and international media outlets came to report on the exhibition (including media invited by enterprises themselves). Before and after the exhibition, a total of nearly 200 domestic and international media outlets carried out extensive coverage of BICES 2025. Among them were: People's Daily, People's Daily Online, Xinhua Net, Guangming Daily, Economic Daily, China Daily, Science and Technology Daily, China News Service, China.org.cn, CCTV.com, CNR.cn, China Business Herald, International Business Daily, China Trade News, Phoenix Net, Sina, Sohu, NetEase, as well as China Industry News, China Mining News, China Construction News, and more than 20 authoritative and mainstream media outlets and professional newspapers including CCTV and Beijing TV; domestic industry-related media including those present here; and more than 70 professional news media outlets, including 1 from Argentina, 3 from Russia, 4 from India, 2 from the Middle East, 1 from Singapore, and the international concrete plant CPI, which carried out professional news reporting on the grand occasion of the exhibition. In particular, since entering September, when exhibition preparation entered the sprint stage, nearly 200 publicity reports related to the exhibition were released. During the exhibition, CCTV carried out a special news report of more than 4 minutes in connection with BICES 2025 and the industry situation. Through three-dimensional publicity and reporting, the influence of BICES 2025 has continued to expand.

V. Continuous Improvement Achieved in Exhibition Operations

In terms of on-site operations of the exhibition, according to the seven improvement goals set before the exhibition, through humanized services, the full implementation of various pre-exhibition operational plans was achieved, the convenience for exhibitors and visitors was significantly enhanced, and the exhibition operations continued to improve, gaining recognition from exhibitors and visitors.

First, by optimizing the exhibition schedule (extending the opening hours of the first three days by 1 hour compared with previous editions), more ample time for exchange and negotiation was provided for exhibitors and visitors, which was unanimously praised by participating enterprises and visitors;

Second, on-site service support was strengthened. Multiple comprehensive service desks were set up inside and outside the exhibition venue, additional catering outlets were added, and on-site shuttle buses were provided to meet the needs of exhibitors and visitors. For the lifting, transportation, and commissioning of large equipment, professional logistics support and on-site coordination services were provided to ensure that all exhibits arrived safely and on time;

Third, to facilitate on-site visits for visitors, the BICES 2025 Visitor Guide was specially compiled for the first time, providing convenient guidance for on-site visits and greatly improving visitors' exhibition-viewing efficiency;

Fourth, special arrangements were made for international visitor delegations to inspect modern construction sites in Beijing and relevant construction machinery lighthouse factories, giving the international visiting delegations an unexpected delight;

Fifth, according to the individualized needs of relevant exhibitors, we specially formulated targeted contingency plans and carried out targeted coordination and services.

There are also a series of more detailed operational matters that will not be listed one by one and will be published in the subsequent exhibition report.

Although BICES 2025 has successfully concluded, the organizers will still earnestly do a good job in summarizing and analyzing all aspects, correctly face up to shortcomings, and continue to make improvements. From the speech of President Su Zimeng of the Association, one can fully feel the distinctive feature of BICES as a weather vane showing the development of China's construction machinery industry. At the same time, President Su also announced the time for BICES 2027 and put forward hopes and requirements for the next exhibition. The countdown to the preparation of BICES 2027 is about to begin.

In the face of some new changes in the domestic exhibition industry, the organization of domestic exhibitions has entered a new stage and requires continuous reform and innovation. In the preparation for BICES 2027 in the future, the organizers will focus on the vision and goal of striving to build BICES into a place for releasing forward-looking technologies for the development of China's construction machinery industry, a leader in the latest development directions, and a high-quality exchange venue for upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry chain and supply chain as well as user units. We will plan for BICES 2027 in advance and strive to achieve "more focused and reasonable exhibition area planning, stronger international visitor organization, more precise operations and humanized services, and more convenient and efficient exchanges between exhibitors and users." We believe that with everyone's strong support and through our joint meticulous efforts, in the golden autumn of September 2027 in Beijing, we will present a high-standard, high-quality, and high-efficiency industry event for industry colleagues around the world.
