On October 15 local time, the on-site survey engineers for the construction project of Station 14 of Bogotá Metro Line 1 in Colombia, undertaken by Sinohydro Bureau 12, began handing over the site, marking the official commencement of the project and the transition of construction work from preparation to the substantive construction phase.

China Power Construction Colombia Co., Ltd. and the project owner (METRO LÍNEA 1 S.A.S.) officially signed the contracting agreement for this project on August 11, 2025, and entrusted Sinohydro Bureau 12 with its implementation. The project is located in the urban area of Colombia's capital and comprises 16 stations with a total length of approximately 24 kilometers. The scope of work for this project covers the construction of three buildings at Station 14, including one upbound building and two downbound buildings, with a construction area of 19,100 square meters. The construction content includes earthwork, foundation engineering, structural engineering, and ancillary works.

Upon completion, the project will effectively alleviate congestion pressure on major local roads and is of great significance for improving urban travel conditions and enhancing residents' quality of life.
