On September 26 local time, as the last steel beam was steadily put in place, the steel structure of the GIS building for the Thailand Bang Lamung 115 kV Substation Project undertaken by Sinohydro Bureau 15 Co., Ltd. was successfully topped out.

Since the commencement of construction, all employees of the project department have overcome challenges such as complex cross-border construction conditions, a tight schedule, and frequent rain during the rainy season, adhered to the management policy of "safety first, quality foremost," and carried out scientific organization and refined construction. During the steel structure hoisting process, the team strictly implemented the technical plan and successfully completed installation tasks with a maximum hoisting height of 22 meters, a maximum span of 13 meters, and the heaviest component weighing 3.97 tons, safeguarding the smooth achievement of the project milestone. During construction, the project team, with a rigorous attitude, excellent technology, and high-quality service, repeatedly won high recognition and praise from the owner, fully demonstrating the company's strength and reputation in the field of international engineering construction.

With the smooth topping out of the steel structure this time, all main buildings of the project have been topped out, marking a phased victory in the project construction. This is not only an important milestone in project construction but also a significant achievement of the company's "going global" strategy. The project department will continue to work hard, efficiently advance subsequent work such as roofing, equipment installation, and electrical commissioning, ensure the project is delivered on schedule with high quality, and contribute to building a good international brand image for the company.

The project is located in Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province, Thailand, with a construction period of 24 months. The main construction content includes removing the original 115 kV AIS substation, building a new 115 kV GIS substation, building a new 22 kV substation, procuring and installing GIS and other substation equipment, and constructing equipment foundations and cable trenches. After completion, the project will provide power support for local tourism development, enhance the stability of the power grid in central and eastern Thailand, and be of great significance to promoting the economic and social development of the entire central and eastern region of Thailand.
