Recently, the Changtai Yangtze River Bridge, in which the Second Harbor Engineering Company participated in construction, was officially opened to traffic. This river-crossing corridor posed enormous challenges in design and construction: the main bridge river-crossing section is 10.03 kilometers long, and the main navigation channel adopts a long-span cable-stayed bridge design that accommodates both expressway and railway traffic, providing important support for transportation development in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River.

The river-crossing section of the bridge features deep water and complex geology, compounded by frequent wind and waves on the river surface, which brought considerable difficulty to pile foundation construction. Key stages such as pile driving and pile extraction required high-precision, low-failure-rate equipment to ensure construction safety and efficiency.
During construction, our after-sales service personnel worked closely with the construction unit to follow up on the pile foundation construction project. Taking into account on-site geological, water depth, and wind and wave conditions, they adjusted the equipment and formulated precise operating specifications to ensure that each pile was driven and extracted in accordance with design requirements. Through the application of the EP series vibratory pile hammer, pile driving and extraction operations were successfully completed, with construction precision and efficiency meeting expectations, providing reliable assurance for the rapid formation of the bridge foundation while ensuring construction safety and high equipment availability.

In the future, as the "New Infrastructure" and "Transportation Powerhouse" strategies are further advanced, the EP series resonance-free variable-frequency variable-torque electric-drive vibratory hammer will continue to be iterated and upgraded, empowering more mega-projects with smarter, greener, and more efficient technical strength and helping China's bridge construction cause reach new heights!
