On September 15 local time, good news came from the Jordan DISI PV O&M project undertaken by SEPCOIII, a subsidiary of PowerChina: the second-year O&M power generation target was completed 20 days ahead of schedule, demonstrating the project team's professional O&M standards and efficient contract performance in overseas project execution.

The project was constructed by the company under an EPC general contracting model, with the company also responsible for its O&M. Since taking over O&M work on October 5, 2023, the Jordan DISI PV O&M project team has kept a close focus on power generation targets and continuously advanced refined equipment management. In the face of adverse factors such as high summer temperatures in Jordan, frequent wind and sand, and rising grid loads, the project team formulated dedicated operating strategies, strengthened inspection and maintenance of key equipment including inverters, combiner boxes, SVGs, and high-voltage lines, and focused on measures such as troubleshooting cooling systems and replacing cable ties, effectively improving equipment health and overall operational reliability. In terms of improving equipment power generation efficiency, the project department relied on the SCADA system to monitor operating parameters in real time, optimized equipment operating modes in accordance with meteorological conditions, and routinely carried out special PV panel cleaning campaigns, effectively reducing the adverse impact of dust shading on the station's power generation. Through strict implementation of hazard identification and closed-loop rectification, equipment availability has continued to improve, providing solid guarantees for the steady growth of the station's power generation and for completing the first- and second-year O&M power generation targets ahead of schedule.

As the first PV power station project undertaken by a Chinese enterprise in Jordan, the long-term safe and efficient operation of the Jordan DISI PV Power Station has provided clean and stable power support for Jordan's socioeconomic development, effectively eased the electricity pressure on water treatment plants around the project, improved power supply conditions for local residents, and further enhanced the company's brand awareness and influence in the Jordanian market and along the Belt and Road.
