Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) published the 2025 5G Factory List, and the "Sunward 5G Factory" project was successfully selected. This achievement is both a strong recognition of the company's exploration in the "5G + Industrial Internet" field and a demonstration of its leading role in driving the intelligent upgrading of the industry.

In recent years, Sunward has partnered with China Unicom Hunan Branch to invest in building a 5G hybrid private network. By deploying micro base stations, macro base stations, and sinking core network elements, the company has achieved large-scale coverage across its plant area and established a high-speed, stable network foundation, providing strong support for real-time interaction and precise control in various industrial scenarios.

Sunward focuses on the deep integration of 5G technology with industrial scenarios and has produced a series of innovative application results. Its self-developed 5G remote control solution has been engineering-applied to equipment such as intelligent rock drilling rigs and unmanned mining trucks, with considerable product sales; digital twin technology has been applied to production lines, effectively improving production efficiency and automation levels.

Sunward not only accelerates product design iteration and reduces operating and quality costs through 5G empowerment, but the project's practical results are also remarkable. In real scenarios such as mining construction, 5G-based multi-machine collaborative operation extends the effective working time of equipment, and intelligent assistance systems reduce energy consumption while improving construction precision, strongly advancing the transformation strategy of "replacing people with machines and reducing manpower through automation."

This selection is full recognition of the project's demonstration value. At present, core production equipment in Sunward Industrial City has completed 5G networking and real-time control, relying on the "Sunward Xiangyun" industrial internet platform to achieve fault prediction and efficient handling, while the energy management system also helps the company operate in a green and low-carbon manner, gradually building a digital system covering the entire process.

Taking this as an opportunity, Sunward will continue to deepen the integrated innovation of 5G and high-end equipment manufacturing, expand new business models such as remote operation and maintenance and intelligent services, and work with upstream and downstream partners across the industrial chain to jointly advance digital transformation, delivering a replicable and scalable "Sunward Solution" to the industry.
