On the morning of August 29, 2025, the first drafting meeting for the national standard "Construction Machinery and Equipment - General Specification for Rotary Drilling Rig Hole-Forming Construction" wasJiangsu·formally convened in the conference hall of the Kunshan Jinling Grand Hotel. The meeting wasorganized by the Foundation Construction Equipment Subcommittee of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Construction Machinery and Equipment(hereinafter referred to as "the Standardization Committee"),with Beijing Sany Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as "SanyPile Machinery"),serving as the lead drafting unit. The meeting aimed to launch and advance the drafting of this national standard.

      Guo Chuanxin, Secretary-General of the Pile Machinery Branch of the China Construction Machinery Society,gave a speechnoting that with the rapid development and wide application of rotary drilling rig technology, the current standard can no longer meet the needs of current engineering practice and technological development; the revision of the new standard will greatly promote the improvement of construction quality and industry technological progress, with significant social and economic benefits.

      Guo Chuanxin, head of the standard drafting working group, chaired the technical discussion session. The participating experts held in-depth discussions on the draft "General Specification for Rotary Drilling Rig Hole-Forming Construction," focusing on process changes brought about by the trend toward larger and more intelligent equipment, new environmental protection and safety requirements, and the application practices of various combined construction methods. The meeting further clarified the standard drafting plan and schedule, with the standard development work planned for completion in November 2026. After thorough discussion, the participating representatives put forward a number of constructive revision suggestions.

      The successful convening of this meeting laid a solid foundation for the drafting of the national standard "Construction Machinery and Equipment - General Specification for Rotary Drilling Rig Hole-Forming Construction," marking the full launch of the standard development work.
